I’m new to expresso making so these were a great buy. while I prefer the slimmer one, the thicker one is also used when I have a little less coffee in my puck. They both work great. After using a few different styles, I really prefer this mesh version for the grounds (they do not get stuck in the holes).

Update: Contacted Normcore support and they responded immediately to resolve my issue No stand included. Box says its included but like many other reviewers, mine did not.

I didn't think I needed these till I bought them, my machine head stays clean now and the coffee is perfect! The holder is the down fall and kinda useless but other than that these screens are great!

The difference it made amazed me. It improves the distribution of water across the puck and keeps the water screen clean. It seems to make the result more forgiving in case of tamping imperfections. I use puck screens for the first time. I'm just an ammateur, so surely one can get similar results without it. For reference, I use a Sage Duo Temp machine now. I got two sizes. The thicker for the deeper baskets and the thinner for the shallow ones. Cleans easily under water jet.
