My outside cat had shredded the original door seal and it was completely destroyed on the bottom. Drafts and water would come into the house. I pulled out the old stuff and was unable to find a good match locally for a reasonable price. Browsed on Amazon, found this one and am super glad I did! The repair literally took less than 5 minutes and the results are perfect. Just take the old stuff out, run a stick through the channel to remove any debris, cut to size and pop the new one in. Bam, problem solved. It’s sealing my door nicely, blocking all draft and it looks fresh. Highly recommended.

These are great! Very good for insulation and they are sturdy, good material, etc. But check to make sure you have the space for these. This didn't work for my front door, it wouldn't close even after I made sure it was secure and the right length and everything. It folds when you close your door which is great, but the space between my door and door frame was not as thick as the weather strips. Please check this and measure your stuff before installing! Other than that the product was great and the installation was easy. I can definitely see how it helps with weather protection & noise control

We have an, um ,'vintage' sliding patio door with a somewhat interesting weather seal configuration. There's enough room only for a thin V seal, but those only last a season before they split and fail. This on is thicker and doesn't really fit as intended, but fits and functions perfectly if I section it at the fold and only install the side with the adhesive strip. Then it's just right and seals great! I'm sure this is fine when used as i's designed. But don't be afraid to get creative for your non-standard uses. The prices is certainly low enough to let you do a little experimenting and inventing, as we did. Call us 'very satisfied'!

This is a great alternative to adhesive weather stripping, as long as it works with your door frame. I noticed immediately the loss of draft coming through the door…and a quieting of sound that I had not realized existed.

This was a very inexpensive way to seal the door up. It will block the dust, air and light coming in our back door. I noticed the sun light coming through one morning. In Arizona, we need a tight sealed fit to keep the heat out. The product was easy to cut with a household scissors, easy to install and looked professional. Best of all it was not too thick and the door closes nicely with a gentle push to seal it up.
