Better than Factory - and available!
These seem to fit BETTER than the factory post covers (which apparently there is a recall on). Tried to get Ford dealer to replace ours but the said "out of stock and no ideal when they would be available". These were MUCH cheaper, delivered quickly and pretty easy to install.

Does not feel flimsy
I bought this replacement part because the rubber seal between this cover and the windshield on the original part (2017) disintegrated. It’s a shame that you have to buy all these parts just to replace that seal. Nonetheless, the seal on this new part seems to be better quality that will hopefully hold up to the elements better. Easy replacement for the old part. The automotive snap fits are always a little scary, but this one goes on pretty well. Feels solid and looks great!

Fit perfect
Product fit perfect. Easy install. I read reviews about the plastic piece underneath breaking, let me give some advice, your not tightening a lug nut on your tire, hand tight with nut driver is all you need. There's no need for adjustments as There's only 1 way it can go

Adhesive is not up to the task
Easy install, good fit, and looks great. BUT THE ADHESIVE that seals the outer shell to the base DOES NOT HOLD UP. Once the wind grabs this edge, the retaining clips don't stand a chance. Passenger side fell off after about a week. The drivers side about 2 weeks later. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Great Product Good Price Fast Delivery
Fast Delivery Good Price Great Reviews on the product so I Bought them one broke on installation but it was definitely my fault just take your Time and follow the instructions I added a little glue on the tip of the clips and they look Great seem to be a quality product and to be honest I would definitely recommend them to family and friends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my Book so give them a Try you won’t be disappointed. Ford wanted $600 For Both sides and installation took me about 45-minutes to and hour to do both sides perfect fit I am Disabled and have Parkinson’s so if I can do this anyone can do this just get your year make and model.

IMPORTANT!!! Read before installing.
So, don’t make the same mistake I did. Obviously, these don’t come with instructions. They’re pretty self explanatory. A crucial mistake I made was clicking the brackets into place from the bottom up. Don’t do this. Go from the top and down. The last clip I could not get in was the top. It was slightly off but I don’t think you’ll have this issue if you go from the top first. It seems pretty sturdy, though, I’ve only just received and installed them today. Once it’s in place, if you attempt to remove the trim after the brackets are in, chances are, you’ll break them. I’m not willing to risk it. Wouldn’t want $70 to go down the drain. I’d say it’s a great value for the money you’re paying compared to stock replacement parts. On top of already having to wait for a free repair due to a recall that’ll never come because they’ve supposedly been waiting for a year or more for them to come in. Regardless, these parts match perfectly with my 2015 Ford Explorer. Looks a lot better than what it used to because my old trim had flown off while I was riding down the freeway and the car behind me ran it over. Fun.

The outer trims are longer than the OEM on 16 Explorer Platinum
The inner trim went in as expected. The outer trim, however, is a different story. These outer trims are about 0.5" longer than the OEM parts (see photo) so when you lay it in on top of the inner trim, the top part of the outer trim will hit against the other roof trim (see photo) and therefore will not sit flush with the rest of the roof trims. This also means that the top part of the outer trim is not 100% secured in due to its being longer. I should have double-checked the length of these parts but it is what it is now. The material is brittle and the clips break easily (I broke a few clips trying to adjust the top part of the outer trim). Finger crossed that this $55 spent will last a while. I will update this review as we go.

A plus for A pillar trim molding
Just bought an 2012 Explorer where they had duct taped and used construction adhesive to keep the A pillar trim molding in place. This product arrived today. I took the advice of previous purchasers and visually inspected product out of the box. No damages. Watched YouTube videos on installation. Pry off old piece, remove bolts from bottom section, install new bottom section, now when you put on the top piece open the doors, when clipping in top piece start from the top (closest to the top of the explorer) then work your way down. I am not a body man or a mechanic and it worked for me.
