ANENG Digital Multimeter Smart Touch TRMS 9999 Count, Rechargeable with NCV

This meter is amazing and inexpensive. Some analog meters blow fuses when the dial is set incorrectly and eat batteries. The autoranging works perfectly. It comes with important cables such as one with alligator clips so you can clip it to whatever you are testing. It comes with a nice zippered case. The battery lasts forever on a charge. The display is bright and can be read in sunlight. I turns off automatically after 15 mins, so it does not kill the battery if I forget. The audio alert is loud enough to be heard with an engine running. This is FAR better than meters with manual dials (and LCDs lacking lighted displays). On those, if you hook it up to voltage when checking resistance you blow a fuse and have to take it apart. I can work on stuff in the dark. It has everything I need to trace out wiring and do debug in my RV if something something breaks. The battery lasts for many months without recharging. NOTE: TO RECHARGE IT, UNPLUG TEST CABLES AND REMOVE THE RED RUBBER PROTECTIVE CASE TO ACCESS THE USB-C CONNTECTOR.

I'm a fire alarm technician and this is an awesome multimeter! I did test it closely to a magnet and the ef meter stopped working. The meter still works but I was able to test outlets (receptacles) for power wireless.. now I can't after the magnet test. For the price I bought a second smart touch meter. It's really great for the price and all the technicians love it. Thus meter is definitely a flex 💪 and fun to use. It's very accurate and well worth the money. And it has a freaking touch screen 😍

It feels pretty cheap but that’s mostly due to how light and flimsy it feels. The connection ports for the rest leads are made of plastic. I’ve connected and disconnected a handful of times and it shows wear already. I don’t expect this meter will survive beyond a few months of hard use. If it’ll be stored safely, you should be fine. Took 1 star off cuz it came with a bad 1kv CATIII positive test lead - thought the whole thing was junk but just the test lead. Bummer though!

Great little device. Way better that the knob versions, to me anyway.. I only use this around the house and for that, it's perfect. Fiddle with it for 2min and you'll easily figure out how to use it. Directions are unnecessary. And I'm by no means an electrician, nor do I have vast experience with these lol. It's one of those thing for me where I never need it, until I need it. And this one does it all, and automatically.. For basic needs around the house, this one is great. And it looks cool. And it's small and light. The case sucks, so I put it in my padded "flower" travel hardcase and it's perfect.. Comes with every cable, wires and attachments you'll need..

I’m in school for electrical and hvac and I wanted a multimeter that wasn’t super expensive so I was debating on this and similar brands and decided to go with this one and you get what you pay for. It constantly jumps around to different settings. I was testing a diode and it kept jumping from voltage to ohms and just now I was getting the calculations on a resistor and it kept jumping around and reading a bunch of numbers etc! Definitely returning and will try another brand if that doesn’t work I’ll splurge a lil bit for my graduation present to myself

Ok, I just received this multimeter and have it charging so I have not used it yet. However, there are a couple details that have me a little upset. First thing I noticed, as I was unpacking it, was that there is nothing in the case to hold it or the accessories in place. I have to use ziplock bags to keep the little pieces and wires from falling out or just have a "junk drawer" look. Oh dear, why is the wrist strap sewed on in the inside of the case? I thought maybe it was inside out but it is not because i wouldnt be able to zip it with the zipper facing the wrong way. But, as you can see in the pictures, there are no pockets or velcro or elestic, absolutely nothing but the wrist strap inside! The next thing, as I was reading the little instru tion manual, is you could use me as an editor for all the spelling errors! Third, I was looking at the multimeter and none of the ports are labeled or marked in any way as to figure out which is which. Sure, the manual shows diagrams but does not match the diagram to which instruction group it is matched to. Also, the manual diagrams does not show which is the red lead and which is the black lead on the diagram. So I am not sure how to solve this dilemma except trial and error and hope I don't short it out! I am new to multimeters so how it functions will have to wait until I learn how to use it. If someone from the company can help me, please let me know!

Easy to use. Don’t have to mess with a dial.

Very good product, decent bag no pockets but can use the plastic bag within as a spare pocket for the accessories. Charging port is pretty sturdy, case is soft to the touch, back-light is good quality. The flash light on my phone is of higher quality but the one on this product works fine in necessary situations. Long battery life also, although I haven't used it more than an hour at a time it seems to offer a very long charge span. If I broke mine by accident I would definitely buy another one. This is built more like a Gameboy and less like an old school nokia so you may want to be careful in how you transport it.
