How do i tell if the unit has finished charging or low on charge for 682? no led light during charge, and the display does not show battery level.

If I remember right (I returned mine), there is a LED on the top that turns green when charged. The main screen shows the battery level.

The 622B is a 9999 counts Push-button multimeter with color screen, while the 622B is a multimeter with 4 *1.5 VVV batteries. Both of them are multifunctional multimeter.
