75988 10 Piece Torx Micro Bits Set

This is a nice quality set of 4mm micro bits in the small Torx sizes. When I need a small batch of specific bits, I've had great luck with Wiha. These seem quality, and work well with Wiha and Wera 4mm Micro Drivers, and with generic 1/4th inch to 4mm adapters for your bigger drivers also. I find having some decent drivers, then getting quality bits that you need works great for me, and has replaced the use of standard screw drivers in my life. Get these bits if you need a decent set of this size and type.

I am extremely pleased with Wiha 75988 Torx drivers for removing the screws that held my HP laptop case together. The T5 screws probably could have been removed with a cheaper tool, but I believe this set will outlive me, and it does not risk stripping or distorting tiny Torx screws. The machining quality on these bits is exceptional. As others noted, you need a driver that can accept these bits. I used a small socket wrench rather than a dedicated micro-bit handle. That worked fine for my laptop screw removal, but I might need to buy a special driver for the next job. It's a small price to pay for such high quality Torx bits.

Well machined tips are holding up great. I mostly use them for knife disassembly and reassembly, so precision is vital. Would highly recommend and but again if I need to.

Just arrived today. Looks good. The holder holds some of the bits a little looser. I can shake a few loose. No size markings on the holder for easy identifying and the markings on the bit is small and in black writing on a grey bit so you have to catch the light just right to read it. the T3 bit also came unmarked for some reason. All in all they're bits that fits in my bit driver. I'd say decent for the price if they hold up.

I bought this to replace a set that came with my screwdriver set. My old set, I only used it a few times, maybe to tighten 30 screws and so on that 30th screw the tiny star key twisted to the point where I couldn't use it anymore. Using these I feel a bit more confident. They're harder and I haven't stripped anything and it shows no sign of twisting.

If you're searching for (actually)hardened smaller torx bits this particular Wiha set is for you. Whether you need them for electronics or EDC work you wont be disappointed. They're worth every damn penny. Not why I bought them but I got out a particular t6 screw that had been stripped for over a decade that'd I had given up on. There are other similar sets that I'm sure are fine for regular applications but they aren't hardened witch they need to be for certain jobs. El material con el que están construidos lo bits es bastante bueno, lo único malo es que son para desarmador de joyero y no para el de 1/4" de la marca Wiha con el que se sugiere la compra

Not 1/4 inch as I thought! Oh well, have not been able to use unfortunately. However they appear to be exactly as described!

I bought these bits to open a T1 Tact watch. I was going by its name. As it happens the best fitting torx bit was size T5. Which means i could have got that screwdriver sooner and cheaper had i known which size i needed. Other wise i can't fault these bits. Hopefully i'll find a use for these in the future.
