Resin novice
I just started working with resin about 6 weeks ago and I'm completely hooked. This is the first (and so far the only) brand of resin I've worked with and so far I'm quite happy with it. I've only purchased the gallon size (just purchased my second gallon set) since it's a far better value than the smaller sizes. I knew I'd go through it pretty quickly because I'm still learning and making lots of fun mistakes. I haven't noticed any yellowing, although most of my pieces have a good amount of color in them. Bubbles are definitely an issue, as with any resin, but heating the epoxy (the really gooey stuff) by placing your resin cup in another cup of hot water for 10 minutes prior to mixing will help with some of the more stubborn bubbles. The hardener is really thin and bubbles are able to escape much easier. Once mixed, you half about a good half hour working time, at which point the resin will start getting thick and won't pour/mix as easily. Pour in thin layers, hit lightly with a heat gun, and pour more layers. Fish out any bubbles along the edges of the mold with a toothpick. This stuff takes a full 24 hours to cure, and maybe even 48 hours for thinner pieces. The (2) half gallon bottles come packaged very thoroughly to ensure no leaks! I was very impressed with that, as we've all received a bottle of something from Amazon that was missing half its contents. This time around, I decided to also purchase some pumps dispensers (GETi Beauty SalonTop Gallon size) to assist with getting the resin from the bottle to the measuring cups. If you decide to go that route, be sure to place your hardener (the really smelly stuff) in a well ventilated area, since it will essentially be "open" at all times due to the nature of the pump. All in all, the price is fair, it's good quality resin, not as smelly as the stuff my friend uses, and nice working time. Buy it. You won't regret it.

Beautiful clear finish! Loved it!
Did exactly what I needed it to do. I had an unconventional project (preservation of my daughters wedding flowers) so my use wasnโt the normal purpose. I loved how easy it was to mix and that adding layer on top of layer was seamless - there were no drying lines between one layer and the next. I needed to mix many small batches and let them dry in between - took about a day to fully dry. I mixed one larger amount for a thicker paperweight and the mixture heated up and set very quickly, about an hour. I used waxed paper to set things on to dry, and they peeled off cleanly once dry. I wore rubber gloves because this stuff is quite sticky. Also, for the air bubbles, after I poured the mixture on my project I literally breathed on it (like you would do to fog up a window) and the bubbles all vanished. I did these projects all during the summer with the AC on, about 72*. Iโm obsessed now and am looking for other projects :0)

I LOVE this stuff!
I do epoxy resin craft work nearly every day. I'm an addict in recovery, and my sober hobby is crafting for local charities...which is my new addiction, and this product really contributes to my appreciation! This is my go to brand. I simply run the bottles under hot water before I mix the resin and hardener and that eliminates almost all bubbles that are problematic with other brands. No torch or blow dryer needed. This resin sets incredibly clear, is easy to mix, has no odor, and is priced well for the quality. It's also consistent from order to order... I recently ordered my 5th or 6ty gallon set. I will continue ordering this stuff by the vat (almost literally) at this price. I can't say enough good stuff about it. The curing time is a bit longer than some other brands and I always wait a full 24 hours after molding my pieces, but totally worth the wait.

Excellent Product and Excellent Customer Service
I have purchased about 10 batches of the epoxy and hardener for various projects. I have completed a 10 foot river table and table top, I have made several cheese boards, I have made several planters , and I have used it as a glue for various wood joinery projects and it has worked out very well for me. The first time I used it there was a bit of a learning curve but that was because I had not used this product before. Every epoxy and hardener has it's own "set of rules" and although for the most part they are not that different it is important to read through the instructions. Epoxy is get to use but you really do need to follow the instructions...it needs to be at least 70 degree's but it also needs to not be too hot either. The surface must be totally clean, you need to mix the epoxy and hardener properly but at the same time, not over mix it. You need to most likey have it inside somewhere so that there is not dust or wind that gets into the mold. You need to have a heat gun to get rid of the bubbles. When I first started using this I had a lot of questions and contacted customer service and they always responded to be with a lot of helpful information. Quite frankly without their help I probably could have finished the river table. I could go on and on but long story short, this is a great product, the customer service is excellent, and you really do need to read the directions and follow them. I would also encourage you to do a small test batch on something you don't care about before starting your actual product so you can get an idea for how to use this product.

Great product but expensive
This is one of the best epoxies I have ever used, it cures fast and there was very little bubble, which with the help of heat gun they all gone easily and quickly. The outcome is great, it is clear and. My only complain is its price, I would have give it 5 star if it was cheaper. This is expensive enough that make is impossible for me to use it again for tables.

User friendly
I originally got this resin as part of a starter kit and since then instead of buying another brand I have gotten progressively bigger bottle sizes. I love its long working time and lack of overpowering smell. A fresh bottle usually creates clear products with a bright sheen but when the opened bottle gets old (around month 2) the hardener starts to yellow. This does not affect me because my pieces are normally coloured - either slightly tinted, full of glitter or downright solidly coloured. There are usually bubbles after mixing but I pop them easily by quickly blowing on them through a straw. Started doing resin in 2021, this is the only brand I have used, I am happy with it and will continue to buy it.

Love this resin for cups
I LOVE THIS RESIN! I make cups and seal them with epoxy and let me tell you this epoxy is amazing! I usually use amuilite clear resin but unwanted to try something different and this epoxy is so much better! Pros: cures much faster in 24 hours, a little goes A LONG way, does not smell at all, I still use PPE but it doesnt burn my eyes or nose when I go to check on it throughout the day. Cons: this resin is much more runny and thin which can be hard when you first start. Amuilite resin is more like honey consistency and this one is more like wet paint it's very runny and thin but a little goes a long way! I still always have extra every time when I'm done. I do wish a little more came in its 2 half gallons one half gallon ir resin and one half gallon of hardener BUT I still love this resin it has changed my crafting life for the better!
