Bought it to use with my tablet so I can leave the laptop to gather dust. Once you get used to the smaller size it's great. No issues with the track pad and the keys have a nice amount of travel. Well made and a charge seems to last ages. Worth the money.

I have a PC in my living room and need a wireless keyboard with a built-in touchpad to control it effectively. For 5+ years I've been using the Logitech K400(+) and, while it did it's job, I never found it that comfortable to use, with average build quality and irritating issues like its signal sometimes dropping out and its touchpad being very imprecise. I spent the better part of a year looking for a premium replacement to the K400 and found that most of the good options from other providers (such as the K83 from Corsair and Logitech's own K830) are either incredibly difficult to find for already high list prices (£100+) or have been discontinued completely. Eventually, however, I started searching through non-premium keyboards and was pleased to find this one from Arteck which had great reviews and decided to buy one. Long story short I'm incredibly pleased: the keyboard is very comfortable to use - unlike the K400 where each key is closer together than on a regular keyboard, the Arteck has standard key spacing and that, plus the very tactile, clicky keys makes the keyboard incredibly comfortable to type on. The touchpad, too, is much more responsive and smooth to use, with big left and right click buttons below it that also feel great to press. And there's a backlight with adjustable colours for each key, too - which makes the keyboard a bit easier to use in a darkened room than the K400 or other unlit keyboards would be. Another minor - but nice - touch - is the shape of the keys - letter and number keys are slightly concave and function/modifyer keys (like control/alt/arrow keys) are slightly convex - helping you find your way around the keyboard more easily while touch-typing. The build quality is great: very little flex to the housing and each key and button is completely fixed in its socket, unlike the k400 which I found to have both of these issues. The keyboard connects over standard bluetooth and I've been exclusively using it on a Windows 11 PC with a motherboard based bluetooth antenna - this has meant I've had a flawless connection since I started using it and no issues with dropping signal or lag - but I guess your milage could vary based on your setup. Overall, I'd highly recommend this keyboard: for me it was a fantastic upgrade from the K400 - which had just enough drawbacks to frustrate me using it everday - and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it as a keyboard for a media PC, tablet, nintendo switch, etc - provided their bluetooth connectivity is stable enough.

[Update 05/24] After contacting the seller to claim on my 2 year warranty, initially they said they would replace the item (no return needed) but as soon as I mentioned I didn't live in the UK (I'm in the EU) they simply blanked me, no replies to my subsequent messages, this is not acceptable, even if it is the case, the warranty only applies to UK based items, they could have said that. Even if they had sent a replacement, as many others have already reported, the replacements also often fail so not much point unless you are happy to have to continually replace the item. I contacted Amazon CS in the end who kindly refunded me for the item. Too bad as is it's a nice keyboard but fatally let down by it's battery and charging, which was never great. I now have a similar item that I got from Aliexpress for just over 20 Euros with wireless dongle (more reliable) and which arrived in 6 days! It's not a nice in function as the Arteck or UK layout but it's a compromise I'll have to live with! -- [Update 04.24] After just over a year of satisfactory use and I am still happy with it overall, my keyboard has now succumbed to what many others have also reported here (check the 1 star reviews): battery charging was always slow and battery life not great, but now it won't charge at all. Bought this keyboard 7 months ago and have loved it. The other day the shift key broke. I contacted customer services and they immediately sent me a brand new keyboard - no questions asked! Very pleased. I have one small gripe, and that's that sometimes the track pad goes offline while I'm using it. If I hit enter it comes back online. Other than that it's worked very well.

Very poor bluetooth range making rhe keyboard quite unreliable. This keyboard has such a short range that it's practically useless. The keys get stuck then when using it, or virtually stuck, where the computer thinks you're holding a key/button even though you're not, just because it's losing connection. The LED backlight is nice and bright, but goes off after less than 10 seconds, and this timeout cannot be changed. Overall, this is not a good keyboard, unless you're using it right beside the computer. If you want this for a TV, or in my case a media centre mini-PC at the TV, where I want a remote keyboard from across the living room, then this is really no good.

Works flawlessly. Keyboard feels good - in fact the keys feel a bit better than my MB Pro's keyboard, yikes ! :-) The trackpad is a little less silky (compared to my MacBook pro trackpad) but I soon got used to it. It supports dual finger gestures (like pinch and scroll and pan) but doesn't seem to work with 3 finger ones. Seem to have very good battery life and charges quickly. One very minor downside is that unlike another BT keyboard (without a trackpad built in) that I have, and several others that I have seen, it only seems to have 1 'pairing configuration' - on the other BT keyboard I have, you can switch it between 3 different host pairings by pressing the 'fn' key with (q or w or e). I don't know if it was just in my case, but there was no manual (or qr code) with it, and at first I couldn't find a pairing button ( it is fn+c - there is a inverted Bluetooth symbol on it, duh'oh), but I the manual easily online. The manual is needed, because it describes the feature modes of the backlighting and trackpad, which aren't obvious, but I guess fiddling about with the fn key and the other keys marked with a inversed symbol could get you there. Pleased with it, so buying another one. Looks like I'll have a few wired keyboards to go to e-waste or gumtree or whatever, now. EDIT: So the second one arrived. It did come with manual and a cable. Additionally the trackpad was smoother and more matt - I then realised there was a protection film on the pad of the first one, which I subsequently removed and now feels really good - du'oh !

I have owned 2 bluetooth keyboards prior to buying this product and neither were comfortable or aesthetically pleasing to use. I took a chance buying this product because I was wary after reading the negative reviews. However, I've found this keyboard incredibly comfortable to type on, easy to use and easy to set up. The buttons are comfortable and satisfyingly clicky. I enjoy the range of backlight colour options and the added bonus of the trackpad. The trackpad sensitivity takes some time to get used to (it's certainly more dampened compared to a Macbook Pro's trackpad) but it does the trick. I'm looking forward to hours of churning away at work on this! It's well built and sturdy, even if a tad plasticky. Overall I'm happy with this product and will update this review if I have any problems with it (charging issues, button wear, ect... as discussed in other customer reviews). UPDATE 07/2025: I’ve used this keyboard for 5 months now. Unfortunately it hasn’t held up to its initial impressions. It quickly became sluggish - when you hit a key it takes some time to register and show up on the screen. Sometimes when I hit a specific letter, a different letter will show up on the screen. Additionally, when I hit the caps lock key, it sometimes doesn’t register and I have to press it twice or three times for it to register, light up and allow me to type a capital letter. All of these issues has led me to become increasingly frustrated because I can’t type at a usually fast speed due to all the incorrect responses. The LEDs still function properly and it still holds its charge very well, but it’s become entirely impractical now to type anything at length. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

GOOD STUFF: -Build quality is good, nothing squeaks under normal use. -light weight, you don't feel it on your lap -Key feedback is nice, spacing is okay (for my smallish hands). -The trackpad is large and has a pleasant texture. -3 step backlight is super useful. -media keys work from the get go, without pressing the Fn key BAD STUFF: -When you get the keyboard you won't even know how to pair it. If you stare long enough you'll notice a Bluetooth sign on the letter C. Press Fn+C to enter pairing mode. (Turns out there is supposed to be a pamphlet with instructions in the box, mine didn't have one. I found a .pdf instruction manual online after I already figured this out) -during the first day the tapping the trackpad as a LMB didn't work, then magically on the second day I could tap as a LMB, why ?? -I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the scroll direction. I've even looked through the Win registry, I didn't didn't find anything in HID or BTHENUM. UPDATE-manufacturer confirmed that ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE SCROLLING DIRECTION so be aware if this is something that drives you insane like me :D -in my opinion it goes into sleep mode too quickly, again no way to change that Overall I'm happy with the keyboard even with its niggles. Hopefully they make a v2.0 with reverse scrolling option. Alternatively, the manufacturer needs to give us some software with at least basic options.

I've had a couple of Arteck keyboards for different uses and have always found them to be good quality at a reasonable price. I was delighted when I saw that Arteck makes this touchpad keyboard, it was just exactly what I was looking for to run a Linux machine hooked up to a big screen TV that serves as a sort of secondary entertainment center in a guest bedroom. The form factor is excellent. I don't really need a numerical keypad on this, so replacing the number pad with a touchpad allows a nice large touch pad, considerably larger than the touch pad you typically find below the keys on laptops or other keyboards. The large touch pad makes this excellent for selecting Youtube videos or Spotify playlist from an easy chair and eliminates the need for a side table or tray to use a mouse. The keyboard section seems to be full size, so it's easy to use this for more extended typing for email and document creation. The only thing it lacks in the numeric pad, so the only weakness would be for users who want that compact math layout. For entertainment rather than office productivity purposes, this is a nearly perfect keyboard. One word of caution - I am finding it a bit unreliable at log in on my Linux machine. I've only used it a few times, but I have had to reconnect and fiddle with it for a few minutes to get it working consistently. I'm not going to deduct a star for that, as I am pretty new to both Linux and this keyboard. I'm hoping to find out that I'm just missing some simple step or setting that will make it connect consistently and immediately when I power up this machine. Otherwise, once I get it working, it functions perfectly. Smooth scrolling, smooth cursor movement, no noticeable lag.

This bluetooth keyboard will not pair with any computer. It is a total waste of money. Despite stating it has a 2 year warranty, Arteck just brazenly refuse to honour the warranty.

Got this keyboard over a month ago, to replace my logitech k400+ (which still works but has been adopted). The arctek keyboard works really well! keyboard is a bit more spacious, and the track pad works better. love the backlighting and, contrary other comments, I haven't had to charge it since the initial charge (always charge new li batteries to full before using). Been using it for typing schoolwork and it is super comfy and no delay at all with the bluetooth. It also has allowed me to access a phone that had lost most of it's screen usability when the screen cracked. By connecting the keyboard, I am able to use a cursor on the phone screen and have full use of that phone again! Wonderful keyboard at a competitive price! and delivery was much faster than anticipated!

I really like this keyboard, glad I made the decision to purchase it. It had a very solid build about it, something you can actually move around and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break. I love the backlit keys, didn’t realize what I was missing. The keys are not silent, but they’re not loud either. I really like the feel of the touchpad, it’s just firm enough so you’re not clicking on everything by accident, but smooth enough to enjoy using for longer periods of time. I would highly recommend giving it a try. As for the Bluetooth, you can’t change the timeout setting for the keyboard, but if you go into power management (windows device) and cut off allowing the computer to cut off Bluetooth to save power, it works great (having to wake the keyboard up every few seconds got annoying quick) Also you will see this review for the full layout version also. Yes, I got both versions LOL I like having a numeric keypad sometimes. They are both equally great.
