Is this the thin fuzzy stuff that they make pajama bottoms out of?

In all my 65 yrs I have never seen anything like this stuff. It's definitely not what I thought I was buying. This would be good as quilt batting or as fuzzy, warm lining for a jacket. I don't think it's suited for Pj bottoms. Its fuzzy and I'm not sure it would hold together enough for Pjs. I bought it to make a hoodie out of. Not now.

Does this fleece reflect or absorb light? When you shine light on the fleece, is it shiny (from the light) or dark (as if no light is on it)?

The fabric is thick and not see through nor shiny.

is this good for a backing of aphgan?

I use it as a back fleeze for a large (3 yards) twin bed blanket for vets. As a use for Ashgan I say no.

Would this work to make kids Harry Potter robes for a birthday party?

I think you'd prefer a lighter fabric--this is like a blanket material thickness.
