Used to keep campground bears away as smell is Huge deterrent . Forest Service approved.. I doused a rag and put it in an empty pie tin. Put it on the tongue of my camper. Bear was active in the Campground, but not by me. Others started using and within a week or so the bear was gone back into forest depths.

This worked well to vacate the woodchuck family from under our deck. The critters were gnawing through the deck wood and sticking their heads out to sun themselves, look for food, pose for pictures….. We found out how much wood a wood chuck could chuck. The ammonia shooed them away.

I found a YouTube video that suggested using 6% food grade peroxide for about 20 sprays and then this ammonia immediately after for about six sprays and then putting saran wrap over the top of it and putting scolding hot water in a glass dish or a pot and leaving it there until the water cooled down removed pet urine stains and pet vomit stains and I’m happy to report. It works like a charm I was amazed.

as a kid I hated the smell of ammonia, grew up just dying to see what would happen if I mixed it with bleach after my mother pitched the cautionary tale every time she used it, but when I need some I absolutely could not find any. unlike most of my shopping, I figured brick and mortar was the place to go…well after a wasted afternoon and substantial frustration I ordered it from amazon in the wally world parking lot. I can’t say whether this is over priced or not - it seems like it is, but it’s available, well packaged and did the trick. Not much to say about it - still smells awful, but if you need some - I recommend skipping the frustration and wasted time and clicking the buy button. you won’t regret it!
