Portastand PASCMS Compact Mic Stand

Just delivered yesterday, it is exactly what I was looking for. The package contained the stand exactly as pictured, no boom was included. I only mention that because another reviewer indicated that an unadvertised boom was included with their order.I think it is sturdy enough for long term use, but could see where someone with a heavy hand might strip the locking clamp screws. That said, I don’t think it has anything to apologize for, one just needs to use appropriate force and I expect it will serve for years.I purchased a set of screw adapters for the top post so that I can connect a variety of different size screw-on (1/4 inch, 3/8 inch and 5/8 inch) items to the post.The big factor for me in selecting this stand is that the three section design permits it to collapse to a shorter length than most other microphone stands so it is easier to transport.

Great stand. It will last longer if you take care tightening it. My first one became stripped. A little gentleness goes a long way. This is a good stand very adjustable.

It came with a detachable boom which was a pleasant surprise because the description didn't mention one. Cheap price and functional but cheaply made. Good value.
