Q: does this have any type of breaker in it or does it just always work? ive used 120v masonry wet saws similar to this and they constantly trip

This has no reset button. This is only 18v... If your cutting porcelain, I don't recommend this. Only ceramic.

Q: How would this saw do cutting limestone tread?

It will cut, but you will need a good strong battery. The larger battery works better.

Q: How could I attach a vacuum to the port?

No... they make a different guard that has a vacuum attachment. You can buy it separately.
