More than a bike cable.
I feel this cable is broadly useful. It is a sturdy, well coated cable that seems it will hold up well to weather. I bought it to lock my snow shovel in the back of my Tacoma, and it should work perfectly. I locked it with a Masterlock paddle lock. Should keep the shovel easily accessible and secure.

Works very well. Very versatile and can be used outdoors. Cable is coated with a clear plastic wrap. Can be used to lock things down outside. I used it to lock my lawn tractor down in front of my garage and wrapped it around the steel pole that in the middle of garage. Can also be used to lock several items together like bicycles or outdoor equipment.
