Will unit accept a 220v saw as the room to start a 120v dust collector?

As long as you have the pro tool plus. I have a 10hp slider in the back room away from my 10hp collector so I bought a little 1.5 hp collector and together the two works great.

What is the working range of the remote?

The working range (radio frequency) is 40 feet, line of sight. If you have any other questions please call Dave at 800-775-5579 ext 4 and he'll be happy to help you out.

Will this work with my 120v 20amp 2hp dust collector? the volts and amperage are in line with the specs, but i am exceeding the stated 1.5 hp...

My dust collector is only 1.5 hp, and I hesitate to say yes since I haven't tried it myself. I would suggest sending your question to the manufacturer; I'm sure their answer will be accurate and prompt. I will say that this switch has been working flawlessly with the load I put on it.

Can this safely power a 120 volt 12 amp treadmill?

Yes it can, it is rated for 20 amps continuous so 12 amps is good.
