This camera is very nice. It seems to be well built. My old 32gig sad card would not work with the unit. Luckily I found a new one at Walmart for 6 bucks. The new card installed and worked flawlessly. That leads me to assume that the card I had was bad or wrong format. Anyway, the two cameras attached to the the mirror have excellent image quality. The back up camera is not great. The image seems blurred. I cleaned the lens and looked to see if maybe it had a shipping film over it but it did not seem to have one. Overall, a good system, easy to use. I will replace the back up camera with a better one soon. Update: After cleaning the film off the backup camera, the image quality is really good during the day. It is a little grainy at night but it is very usable. The more I play with the features of this camera, the more I like it. The only feature I really dislike is the loop recording. You can set it to 1, 2 or 3 minutes but you can not disable it. You have 8 to 10 hours of audio video recordings but they are in 1-3 minute files. I wish this had an option for continuous recording. Either way, this is a superb camera for the price. I have changed it from 4 to 5 stars after playing with it for a week. If you look at the bad reviews and then read the description of this camera, you can figure out very quickly that the bad reviews for the most part are from user error. The one that says, I put my 128GB card in...”. Hello, it states clearly that no larger than a 32 GB card can be used. People should not be able to do ratings if they don’t read the instructions and specs of products they buy. Buy this camera, you will not regret it.

I've had this camera for over a year now and after the initial issues I had getting used to it, I have now come to love it. At first I found it powered off randomly. Once I had driven around for a week it seemed to stop having that issue. My main annoyance is the camera will detect my door closing as a collision and turn back on after turning off and begin a collision recording. That is annoying cause I have a bunch of collision recordings of just my door being closed. I did have to have a mechanic install the rearview camera but it was totally worth it. It has saved my butt though! Having footage after a recent accident saved me from being found liable for an accident. Also the night Vision is a joke, does not work lol. All in all though, totally worth the cost. Easy to use if you put time into learning how to. The instructions are not very intuitive unfortunately and need more details.

Unfortunately, mine was working BEAUTIFULLY, for about half an hour. I ran a few tests, saved a few videos, and was rather impressed until... I plugged in the rear (backup) camera. The instant the reverse camera was plugged in, the display went blank (black screen) with parking guides, and nothing functioned the same, after that. After unplugging the reverse camera, I received an error stating SD card error. I removed the SD card, and moved it to my PC. All the files were still there. I pulled up VLC, and they played. Thinking this might have been an error introduced by the reverse camera, I blanked the card, and reinserted the card into the dash cam. Formatting errored, and nothing worked, after that point. I even inserted a brand new 16 GB TF into the slot, and the error reappeared. This was disappointing. Everything else about the system was beautiful, up to that point. Video was clear and sharp. Sound was far less "tinny" than others I've tried. Sound was fairly crisp. Unfortunately, the system will not work, at all, without a card inserted. Since every card and every attempt produced an error (four attempts, total), it didn't seem worth the effort to proceed with any further motions. The system was rendered useless, at that point. I will try the Chicom, next. Justification: Something tells me this unit had been used/returned, before. There was no film on the mirror, and the top of the unit had been scuffed. There were also already smudges and a couple of light scratches on the mirror surface. This is not likely to happen in transit, so I assume the unit had been re-packaged, previously. Had this not been the case, I would have opted for a replacement and awaited its arrival (I'm not in any rush). Overall, I like the system, and would have been quite happy to give it another shot, with a fresh replacement unit. However, any company that is willing to repackage a product and throw it back out on the shelf (Fry's is notorious for this) is not high on my trust list. As such, I went with another manufacturer. I don't know whether this is a manufacturer-direct issue of a vendor issue, but things like that tend to reduce my desire to assume good faith mistakes. This is less a "buyer beware," and more of a "buyer be aware." Since I have only one experience with this vendor/manufacturer, and I have not read any other reports of such, I cannot (in good conscience) call this a 'trend' or a 'practice' by this company. That type of smear is vindictive and disingenuous. I am simply less trusting when I encounter these types of circumstances, and err on the side of caution. Take it for what it is worth, to you. Just remember that a quick cosmetic inspection for signs of previous use is always a good idea, for instances like this.

I was in a car accident when a man ran a stop sign and hit my car. This camera recorded the whole thing. Warning this video is scary. Everyone in both cars survived. So I added the video to this review, so you can see the quality at night in a actual accident. This video made dealing with the accident, much easier. The night vision for the camera taping the front of the car where there the headlights are lighting up everything works great. The cam that records in car, does not work to well at night, unless you have some kind of extra light. I have a love/hate relation ship with the back up camera. It works great sometimes. But at other times not so much. Sometimes I have to unplug and replug the back up camera to get it to work. On bright sunny days, the backup display screen is not bright enough to see clearly over the glare. At night the back up camera has a hard time in low light areas, like a dark drive way out in the country. But works great at night at gas stations and apartment complexes with lots of light. This mirror was also a little to wide and made it so I could not put my sun visors all the way down to block the sun. Which was annoying.

Love this 3 camera system! Was super easy to install, just clipped it to my rear view mirror, ran the cable around the edge of the windshield, plugged it in, adjusted the camera angles, and selected my settings. Done! Works great! I did adjust my dome light to come on when the doors open, as the night vision could be better, but it's still a very good deal for the price, and highly recommended for rideshare drivers.

The dash and back camera are both good quality. But. I had to returned the dash camera because it was defective. The good news - the replacement dash camera is now working. I strongly suggest to hire a professional dash and back camera to install both of them. Ernest M.

Didn't put rear in, didn't want to run wires through, but thinking of doing it now. But I love the Mirror Cam. It works and it was easy.

So I originally had a FalconZero dash camera that looks almost identical to this one. Whether they have something to do with one another or not i don't know. The power supply in my old one failed and FalconZero wasn't selling them anymore so I went on the hunt for a new one. (I have no issues with FalconZero, I had their camera for a while before it broke so it wasn't on warranty not did I pursue then to get it fixed). So for me, I fell in love with this concept of a dashcam because it doesn't stand out immediately in the car and if anything at all it makes your rearview mirror much larger which is great for situational awareness. So when I find this one by Pyle the reviews were rare and it was hard to decide whether I should pull the trigger but I did anyways... When I received it and installed it, booted it up and started browsing the menus, setting up the settings and so forth. I put my 256GB mini SD card in there, let the camera format it and everything came to life. The cameras are quite adjustable considering they can rotate 180 degrees but also tilt. This allows you to really tweak that view you're looking for. They are quite wide angled. I use the right camera to view the inside of my car and the left one for the front. The inside cameras is pointed at my front passenger and with that I can see everything in the backseat as well without me being in the way of anything. (By the way I drive a 2013 Ford Taurus) Other than that it records upon startup of the car as expected. When the screen is on it is not too detracting from the functionality of the actual rearview mirror itself. During the day I actually have the screen always on when on driving but at night I turn the screen off while it's recording. So here are my negatives: I am in the process of returning the camera to get repaired or replaced. The night vision for one of the cameras wasn't working. I could see the IR lights on but it just wasn't recording correctly. So the screen can display either camera in full screen or it will display one camera PIP over the other. So one camera will be full screen and the other will be a quarter size on the top right of the screen. I wish we could get them half and half next to each other like the old camera or at least have the option to choose which camera is the PIP... Small stuff I did not hook up the rearview camera as my car already has one so if you're wondering if you can run this without the rear one being hooked up you can... I also don't mess too much with the motion sensing so I'm not going to go into that. The customer service experience isn't much to complain about. It just took some time (2-3 days) to get an initial response after contacting them but after that it was quick to get the warranty info and return policy in effect so I can get it fixed. When I get it back and everything works as expected I will update this review to reflect accurately. UPDATE 30MAY19 ok so the camera came back from the repair place up in New York somewhere in a pretty timely fashion. No complaints on that part. Unfortunately the issue isn't fixed and I believe it got worse. I still have one camera that doesn't have functioning night vision and this time it seems the quality had degraded as well in one camera. I have tried contacting them again. Filled out a trouble ticket, contacted them through messenger. Their messenger have me a number to call. Half the time it tells me the line is disconnected, the other half I get to their automated service but regardless of which combination of options I choose it just automatically hangs up. I haven't even attempted to contact them for a while now, I figure in just stuck with what I got which is a functioning day time camera out of one camera and the other one is more or less dead weight. I'm sure if needed to prove what happened in an accident it could fly but I expect 1080 quality as advertised and I'm not getting it out of that one. It's unfortunate, i love the combination of the mirror and camera so I don't have extra stuff on my dash. If anything progresses from here I'll update more, until then my bottom line above would be... If the price is manageable for you and you're ok with a risk, try it, maybe you'll get a good one. If not stay away... UPDATE JAN2020: ok so I just forgot to update this a while ago but no response ever from the manufacturer with my second issue so I stopped trying... It's not what I want and am currently looking on eBay and Mercari for a seller with the Falcon Zero F360. I do not recommend this but will leave it at two stars because the power supply hasn't failed like the FZ though sometimes when I got a bump the screen with go blue and very grainy which a restart will fix it... Not worth the trouble overall honestly

Still working great. Will surely buy again.
