Smells funky...but this stuff is great!
Works so much better than wax if you are trying to do several color layers at the same time. Stays put and peals off easily. Great coverage.
User
Easy to use and reliable.
Best resist going after 55 years s a potter.
User
Very smelly
Very very smelly... but it works great on bisque clay.

Using as latex resist
First, I'm not an expert at using latex resist. I usually use wax resist, but liked the idea I could peel this off so I didn't have to burn off the wax for some techniques. So far I've been a little disappointed, but I don't know if it's the latex or not. I used it over underglaze but when I peeled it off, it did take off some of the underglaze. This might be due to the thickness I put it on - thick, it is very strong! I used it on the bottoms of some bowls, but then when I put it too thin it was hard to peel off. There could be an in between with more practice. It is also possible it works better with other resist techniques. Either way, this latex was way cheaper than you can buy from ceramic supply. It's really stinky, that's for sure, so I would use some ventilation.

Works perfectly
Though it smells to high heaven, the color makes it easy to see and use, and the easy and smooth peelability of the product allows one to correct errors quickly by peeling and trying again.
User
Best resist I’ve used.
Works great on bisque ware! I like that it goes on dark pink so it’s obvious where you’ve painted it. Also, it’s not crazy runny so it’s easier to avoid accidental drips.
User
Works but smells
Works well but it needs to be put on thick so as to be able to peel it off. . . it also has an offensive smell
User
Sort of ok
This works ok, but it doesn’t come out of crevices is they are a small design. Also it stinks horrible
User
Budget friendly latex resist.
Pros- Easy to Remove: Water-based formula makes it simple to peel off once dry. I use a set of sharp ended tweezers- Versatile: Suitable for application on bisque, greenware. Although, that's not just this brand but latex resist in generalCons- Limited Durability: It's water soluble so if you are doing complex layering, it might not work well- Drying Time: Takes time to dry fully before glazing, which may slow down your workflow.- Smell: This specific one has a very pungent smelling salt aroma. I'd recommend using a face mask if you are sensitive to smells- Dont Use a Brush: This is less about this brand and latex in general, use a slip trailer for non-detail related design.
