Scotch Bonnet is quite a hot chilli if my memory serves, but this hot sauce isn't really that hot, in fact I think it's perfect, although I do like hot foods, I like foods that just taste good too and this is that. You do get a mild tingle on the tongue but it's gone almost instantly and you're left with quite a sweet flavour with quite a hint of vinegar. In fact there's not many ingredients in this sauce which is really nice to see, most are just natural things and for once, it doesn't have tomato in it and as someone who really dislikes tomato that just seems to be in everything, I'm thankful. Ingredients:- - Red pepper - Scotch Bonnet Chilli (12%) - Cider Vinegar - Granulated Sugar - Lemon - Garlic - Salt - Black pepper - Paprika That's the entire list on the bottle. I think it tastes amazing with cheese and crackers. Works great with chips too due to the vinegar. At £5.95 it's not the cheapest but fair, especially as you get it right to the door. I'm very happy with this and can absolutely recommend it.

Nice 👌🏻, but not too hot.

Great taste. However, it's advertised by Amazon as sugar-free, which it isn't. My fault, should have double-checked. Sugar not good for you. So I've bought the Louisiana one, the ingredients of which indicate no sugar. If that's not the case, it will be the last time I purchase these particular products from this company.

This is a piri piri sauce made using scotch bonnet chillies. It is quite spicy and not for the faint hearted. But it also has more flavour from the Vimegar, sugar and garlic than from the chilli.but the chillies really do add a good bit of bite. I've had a lot of different piri piri sauces and most are more like or just taste like vinegar. This has lots of flavour from the cider vinegar, sugar, garlic to and also the chilli. Then there's a good whack of spice after. This does not taste like a cheap chilli sauce. Good quality and value. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

Product come leaking with crack in the glass

I was excited to try this piri piri sauce, having been a fan of a big uk high street food chains for quite some time. The sauce comes in a narrow necked bottle to allowing you to have control of the flow. This enables you to pour liberally on to a plate or sparingly onto your food items. The sauce had a really deep and brown/red, almost bronze, colour with a really pungent chilli aroma. Being frank, it smells really hot. It has a delicious, complex flavour profile. The acid from the cider Vinod had and lemon are quickly eclipsed by the fruit scotch bonnet and red pepper. Heat wise it’s around a medium, however whilst it starts off a little tame it rapidly increases and builds with every bite. A true upgrade on your big standard piri piri and something I’d highly recommend.

​Really tasty hot sauce, very reminiscent of the flavours of popular spiicy chicken chains on the high street. It has quite a bit of heat with a touch of sweetness and a fair amount of smoky flavour. I've just had empanadas for dinner tight and a little of this on top of a dab of soured cream was absolutely brilliant (not more than a little though - a large dollop would kill my taste buds for the foreseeable future! At under £6 for a decent size bottle, it's also pretty good value. We'll be using it to spice up burgers and chicken dishes, and also as a marinade for some chicken thighs that we have in the freezer before we bung 'em on the barby (the bottle is supposed to be used up within 6 weeks of opening, and the only way we'll achieve that is to use it in marinades).

For those that don’t drink alcohol it should be made clearer that this contains cider vinegar.
