Right out if the package I was impressed with the sturdiness and quality of the materials used to construct this. The fact that it condenses so small and comes with a carrying bag makes this really easy to take between locations. It has a sleek design plus all of the functions and features that I needed, and then some. It’s a little on the heavier side where monopods are concerned, but unless you’re hiking deep into the wilderness to shoot, it’s not cumbersome. I love the included tripod feature and find myself using it a lot. I’m also constantly adjusting the height which is very simple with the quick snap releases. Paired with a gimbal, this has really increased the quality of my videos. Neweer has definitely upped their game in recent years and now seem to be making affordable equipment that performs nearly as well as some of the pricier gear.

Very sturdy. Holds heavy Canon DSLR for church video. We mounted this monopod to the corner of our tech booth and holds a static video camera. Very sturdy, now wiggle or sway.

Best budget monopod. Sturdy, stability, not so heavy and easy to use

Bought this as a backup when my main monopod, that cost more than twice as much as this one, had to go in for repairs under warranty. I first bought a different brand - I chose that one and this Neewer as my options and I made the mistake of picking the other one first because of interest in trying a different brand. After one use I realized how inferior the other brand was so I returned it. I replaced it with this unit and it lived up to the expectations. I own other Neewer equipment and it is all high quality. I should have known better than to try another brand. Lesson learned.

This monopod is a bit on the heavy side, but you will appreciate its sturdiness when you are out shooting with those long, heavier lenses.

Very functional and valuable for the price. I used it for multiple devices so I had to get extra mounts, which fit perfectly in the storage compartment in the provided travel case. Very sturdy and easy to use.

Acabo de recibir el producto y aunque me falta probarlo a fondo, de entrada la impresión ha sido buena. Recurro con frecuencia al material mecánico de Neewer por su buena relación calidad-precio ( no así la electrónica. Tengo un grip de cámara de esta marca que uso de pisapapeles porque da fallos constantes). En general el producto no difiere de la descripción de la web, lo cual ya es importante. Monopie de metal con buenos acabados, el último tramo con muy poco diámetro (tal vez esto le de un aspecto algo frágil) Queda bastante corto plegado pero desplegado desarrolla una altura más que suficiente. El peso es liviano, y añadido a su tamaño lo hace bastante cómodo de transportar (viene con funda propia). Los movimientos de cabezal son decentes en los paneos, aunque el tilt genera, para mi gusto, demasiada tensión de muelle y no es regulable. Ah, y la zapata compatible es con el sistema Manfrotto. Satisfecho con la compra, por ahora.
