Are the edged curved or are they sharp?

I installed these the first day after I got the phone. I don't remember them being sharp. They applied very easily and have held up beautifully. I was concerned that the touch screen might become more difficult to use, but it didn't at all. One caution. I didn't line up the cutout for the top camera perfectly and it messed up face recognition. I give these a 9 out of 10. Very happy with the product. Reasonably priced too.

For those of you who installed this did you have problems with the fingerprint reader?

I just received a Pixel 7 at Christmas, and I did have trouble with the fingerprint reader, however that was before I installed this glass protector. After installing the protector, the fingerprint reader still does not work, but everything else works perfectly with the glass installed, so I think its the phone, not the glass.

will it fit the Pixel 7a?

No. Pixel 7a has a screen size of 6.1 inches. Pixel 7 has a screen size of 6.3 inches. You’ll need to buy the one compatible with 7a (I’m sure amFilm will be making one soon).

Is this actually glass? So many screen protectors claiming to be glass but they bend, so it's obviously not glass!

I haven't broken my screen yet to test that theory if it is glass or a thick polymer but I'm assured by the description that it's tempered glass and will be the layered protection in addition to your phone screen. It is still your decision on what's best for you and your phone. I know you will use your best judgement on your purchase.
