This is a great value way to buy this product. I've poured some into an air tight container to keep handy in case the cardboard packaging was to get damp. I've been using this to soak some discoloured whites, and started adding it to my detergent in the washing machine, and it seems to be making a difference so it's something I'll continue to do.

I'm sensitive to chemicals and wanted something I could easily shake into the toilet to clean it. In the US, I used Borax. This makes a nice substitute for that. Even the eco toilet bowl formulas are too stinky... they're a problem for anyone who has an issue with pine scents (or any scent). I don't understand why my local grocers only carry eco products with scents. At least I can buy the products I need online like this Borax substitute.

Can"t do without this item.

I used this in my washing machine as recently my clothes started smelling of mildew so i did a few washes using borax with and without clothes as i think it’s a good idea too give the machine an empty wash now and again, no more smells on clothes or from the machine

Excellent at removing built up odours. I soaked clothes in powder detergent, soda crystals and borax substitute for a few hours before the normal wash and everything looked and felt noticeably fresher after.

I hopes that this would be some magical cleaner but it’s not. Doesn’t have any impact on staining in the toilet bowl and after buying a multi-pack, half of it has set hard as concrete before I got chance to use it.
