A Perfect Gaming Mouse
Coming from a Corsair M45 which retails at twice the cost of this mouse, I have to say, I'm incredibly impressed. As an avid gamer, I wanted a mouse with a bit more functionality and a few more buttons. I found this on Amazon, after previously purchasing a uTechSmart Uranus mouse, which is identical to this in every way, but more expensive at £30. The mouse I received from uTechSmart had a manufacturing defect, the left button was 'sticky' so I returned it. I could tell however, that had this defect not been present, it would have been an excellent mouse, but unfortunately Amazon did not offer me a replacement, only a return. This mouse on the other hand... well what can I say? Starting off with the fact that its £10 cheaper than the (already incredibly priced) uTechSmart model, and yet, it is the exact same mouse, only with different branding - and no defect this time! So, comparing it to the Corsair M45 - It is a solid mouse. Honestly, though I have only just received it, I think it feels better in my hand than the M45. Feels more 'solid' somehow, which is helped greatly by the metal base. The buttons are nice to click and respond to a light touch. The side buttons are incredibly well placed, with a nice space for the thumb to rest when it isn't doing any button pressing. It has a much higher DPI range than the M45, the sensitivity on its highest level is insane, but it can be customised to the nearest 5dpi up to 16400! The report rate can also be set at 125, 250, 500 or 1000Mhz, and this can be done on the fly if bound to a button of your choice. The number of buttons is very useful and the software that is packaged with the mouse is sufficient to bind keys, commands and macros. The software allows 5 unique profiles, but also allows for saving setups to files, allowing for plenty of customisation between setups. Each profile has 5 DPI profiles within it, allowing you to change the DPI on the fly, differently depending on the active profile. The only complaint I have, is that the profile manager cannot set profiles automatically dependant on running programs, though there is a button on the base of the mouse that switches between then or you can map any other button to do this instead. The expanded functionality granted by the customisability of the additional buttons and the ability to set macros, mean that this mouse isn't only great for gaming, it can enhance productivity across a range of applications.All-in-all I cannot recommend this mouse enough. I genuinely cannot believe that this mouse is only £20. The quality is incredible.I am a strong believer that, up to a point, you get what you pay for. In this case however, I got far more than I paid for. Buy it. You'll be glad you did.

Exceeds Expectations!
My Gaming mouse arrived today via prime next day delivery. Upon opening the easy to open packaging and removing the mouse, i immediately noticed the weight. For the price that this mouse is, I was not expecting the solid weight of it that makes it feel high quality.Inside the box is the mouse itself, the instruction booklet, the warranty card and the CD containing the mouse software. I removed the packaging and plugged the mouse into my computer and was impressed by the array of bright colours that it produced and how they change colour as a different DPI is selected. At this point i would like to add that the buttons themselves all feel mechanically secure and none of them feel mushy or loose. The cable for the mouse is a braided blue cable and adds to the premium feel of the mouse. It is not flimsy and does not feel like it will break easily. I have also flexed the cable around the USB connection end and the mouse end to check for any weak spots in the glands but could not find any.Once i had messed around clicking various buttons and watching the colours change, I then decided to insert the CD and check out the supplied software. The software itself is very easy to use and allows for 5 profiles for the mouse. As if playing with the colours by pressing the buttons wasn't enough, i found that you can play around even more with the software! the software allows you to change the colours of the LED's, the brightness and also to set it to pulsate or flash. The software also allows you to change the function of any of the 8 buttons on the mouse and even allows you to create macros.I will need more time to explore the gaming mouse and software before i can provide any more depth in the review but so far this mouse has definitely exceeded my expectations by a long shot and in my opinion should cost more than it does. (Don't tell the seller!) I would definitely recommend this gaming mouse for anyone who is looking for an affordable good quality mouse.

Good mouse for the price, responsive enough. Does the job.
