This waffle maker is great , no book with it though for recipe and how long to cook but a quick search on the internet and you’ve got all the information.

This Von Chef wafflemaker is easy to use, and requires only the base plates to be brushed lightly with cooking oil before each addition of batter. The average time for two thin Waffles is 5 minutes, and temperature control is automatic. It is easy to clean with a kitchen tissue and a dry cloth. It plugs in anywhere in the kitchen and has heat resistant feet. It is really good value for money.The waffles lift cleanly from the plates with a wooden spatula and leave no residue. I find that a thin batter gives the best results. (The addition of Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg and sugar makes beautiful sweet waffles which also taste good with a savoury topping, cheese, yogurt, or fruit.) Waffles are turned out with a consistent quality when making 20 or only 2 at one time.

I tried it today and I might doing something wrong, but the waffles do not fry evenly. One part is brown and done while the other end is still half raw. Out of the 10 waffles none came out OK. :Also the top side remains almost totally flat, Only the bottom side has got the waffle shapes.
