Coloured pattern goes to the inside, its renewed when you can see the pattern on the outside bleaching through

I have crease and charcoal filer in one park do i use both at the same time?

You only need the grease filter if your extractor hood vents to an outside wall. The charcoal filter is to eliminate cooking odours for extractor hoods which don’t vent to an outside wall.

will it fit my very old philips extractor

The grease collector is available in different sizes ,though you can cut the material to fit the size of your extractor.
