Sony WF-1000X Truly Wireless In-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones - Gold, with Alexa built-in

Virtually no controls other than for noice cancellation or answering a call, e.g. no volume control but the sound is really really good and noise isolation from outside word is user controllable via the selective noise cancellation. The battery charger case is clever. My other earbuds can give better sound, but they are not wireless eg Audeze isine20 and no noise isolation or ACS with custom ear molds with great noise isolation but not wireless.

Got it 5 day ago, immediately used it for 3+ hours watching TV until the battery completely discharged. Today used it again for an outdoor run. No problem whatsoever. Fit is very good and secure, sounds good, NC is good for both indoor and outdoor environment. Bluetooth keeps its connection all the time. For indoor use, i went to bathroom a couple of times while the TV in the family room (at least 30 ft), and the audio never disrupted. For outdoor use, i kept my phone in my pocket all the time, no problem encountered. The only reason for the 4 star is the limited battery run time. For this size, i believe Sony could/should have made it last at least 5+ hours. Oh well, i will buy another pair so that one is being charged while the other is in use.

One star as they aren't fit for purpose. I bought these with high expectations. Sound quality is great but that's no good if the earphones won't stay connected. The right speaker has constant dropouts if you're moving. Sitting still on my commute and they're rock solid, but start to move and they drop out continuously. I upgraded the firmware and then tried switching to stable mode via the app but to no avail. This was all attemtped on a Samsung Galaxy S8 They are going back for a refund.

Maybe it's me but I cant make out the difference between noise cancellation on or ambient sound, or even all off. But the sound quality of these headphones are just outstanding gorgeous even. Wholeheartedly recommend by me the best I have ever had.

Let's start with the packaging because it's unnecessary big. The battery runs out quickly with minimum usage.. The colour is the only nice thing about it. The earphones are big as well .. is it convenient? let me get used to this lol I've had melomania1 since last September but about a week ago lost one of the ear buds so decided to buy something good within the same price range. The reviews were promising. The sound is no better, there's a slight noise cancelling so it seems like it might be better but in reality it's just "good/decent". NOW, the issue is how far apart can you be from your phone when you're listening to the music. Turns out no more than a feet apart. It goes totally blank no sound, everything stops but there's visibly no pause hit. Overall.. well, look for something else

I'd read the mixed opinions, seen the glowing What HiFi review, own the great over ear model so thought I'd take a chance. I'd mainly be using them for walking as wired phones are getting on my nerves. The gold colour is not as blingy as I'd thought so that was a bonus, they are well designed, nice case, lots of buds supplied, lack of volume on the phones is a minor annoyance. App is required but it's decent enough. The sound quality is great, the noise cancelling so so but external noise is pretty well isolated anyway. The main issue as reported by others is the dropping right hand connection. It's very random, one day when walking it didn't drop, the next day it constantly dropped. No rhyme or reason behind it. What HiFi obviously had a good day with them. If you cover the right hand bud the connection drops, I'd expect that but my head isn't that big to block the signal ear to ear!! I was really reluctant to return them but had no choice in the end. I hope a newer Sony model will be more reliable .

Booming bass, terrific tone, wonderfully wearable & doubly discrete. I gave away a £350 set of over ear headphones because of how good these had been.

Ya tenia un altavoz Sony y gratamente me sorprendio que se puede tener aun mejor sonido con estos auriculares, calida en el diseño y en los acabados en resumen una pequeña obra de arte. Los famosos cortes de sonido con la ultima actulización y prioridad sonido casi desaparecieron y son muy ocasionales.

Pil ömrü diğerlerine göre biraz (değil çok)kısa ama kutu ile sorun olmaz(oluyor. filmin ortasında kesiliyor ve bir saat boyunca yüzde elliye ulaşmayan şarjı oluyor). Kritiklerde bahsedilen sağ kulaklığın arada ses kaybı iPhone da oluyor macbookta olmuyor. (Ses kalitesinden ödün vererek azalıyor ama hiç kesilmiyor bu kesinti meselesi) Yakınlık uzaklık ile ilgili değil. Aynı anda hem gürültü giderme hem bağlantı yaparken atlama oluyor olabilir. Aplikasyondan kalite değil bağlantı önemli ayarı ile çok azalmasının nedeni bu olabilir. Aynı sorunu samsungun kulaklıkları ile de yaşadığım için kablosuzluğun sorunu diye düşünüp önemsemezseniz çok sıkıntı değil. (sıktı) Ambient sound özelliği biraz zayıf. Samsung ta tiz bir his sesi ile çevrede konuşulanlar çok rahatsız ediyordu, bunda çok hafif farkediliyor yine de araç sürerken takmamakta yarar var. Ter geçirmez değil. Son unos auriculares con unos acabados muy buenos, como nos tiene acostumbrados Sony. Sonido muy bueno. Están pensados sobre todo para escuchar música con ellos. Para otras tareas se quedan algo cortos. La cancelación de ruido la hace a la perfección. Muy cómodos. La única pega es su batería. Le dura unas 2 horas. Algo corta si vas de viaje o sales de ruta.

Es indudable que el fuerte de estos auriculares es la calidad de sonido, tengo los hermanos mayores ( Sony MDR1000XB.CE7 ) y en cuanto a calidad del audio están casi al mismo nivel, pero son tantos los errores en su concepción que me he visto obligado a devolverlos, en este caso han pesado, más que los pros, las contras. Pros: -Calidad de sonido, no defrauda, a la altura de lo pagado. -Reducción de ruido que funciona aceptablemente bien, aunque el aislamiento que proporcionan las almohadillas es limitado, así que no esperes milagros, en este aspecto los de diadema les dan mil vueltas. -Admite codecs en alta resolución hasta 900 Kbps. -Calidad de materiales y construcción premium. -Almohadillas de todos los tamaños, las almohadillas largas potencian los bajos y las cortas mejoran el confort. -La caja de almacenamiento es metálica y funciona como base de carga, los auriculares se apagan automáticamente al guardarlos y se encienden y conectan al movil al sacarlos. Contras: -Duración de la batería, solo 2 horas, lo cual es ideal para gente que se desplaza al trabajo en el transporte urbano, para escuchar musica en casa se quedan cortos y siempre acabo utilizando otros. -Demasiado delay, así que olvídate de utilizarlos para ver películas o videos de youtube, el audio va a ir retrasado respecto a la imagen, escuchando música no tiene importancia. Este para mí, es el principal "defecto" de estos auriculares, ( aunque reconozcámoslo, con 2 horas de duracion de bateria es que no están pensados para ver películas) estan pensados para ESCUCHAR MÚSICA, este "fallo" no tiene arreglo a día de hoy, y dudo mucho que lo tenga, pues creo que tiene que ver con que el movil se conecta solamente al auricular izq siendo este auricular izq el que se conecta al derecho, demasiado delay por el medio. -El audio de las llamadas se escucha sólo por el auricular izquierdo y se escucha bastante mal, el micro que tienen incorporado tampoco es nada del otro mundo, cumple sin más. -A veces se producen algunos microcortes en la conexión bluetooh, este defecto es más acusado cuando tenemos establecido el modo de prioridad en la calidad de audio ( se usa el codec aptx en lugar de sbc ) en el que el movil envía mayor cantidad de datos por el canal bluetooh, la conexión debe ser más estable y si no lo es se producen cortes ( llevando el movil en el bolsillo, por ejemplo). -La conexxión bluetooh se produce de la siguiente manera: el auricular izq. se conecta al móvil, y el auricular der. se conecta al auricular izq. , esto implica que a veces falle la conexxión entre el auricular derecho y el izq. y solo se escuche por el que se conecta al móvil (izquierdo). Un modo de evitar esto es sacar de la caja en primer lugar el auricular derecho. Conclusión: aunque me costaron solo 60 euros por ser reacondicionados, tienen tantos pequeños defectos que he decidido devolverlos, si quieres calidad de audio sin fallos, comprate los de diadema.

La batería dura sólo 1 hora de audio. El sonido espectacular eso si. Los he tenido que devolver por eso.
