Tested with 24-bit FLAC
Right.I wanted something decent for computer use, and my ears are quite picky — they definitely objected at first.Still, here’s why I bought these, kept them, and gave them 5 stars (≈9/10):1. For the price, these are very good. I wouldn’t personally pay much more, mainly because the small satellite drivers are quite stiff and housed in plastic enclosures, which gives the midrange a slightly rigid character. That said, for what they cost, this is expected.2. Using Equalizer APO, I was able to squeeze much more out of them. On a scale of annoying → acceptable → satisfying, they went from maybe acceptable to very satisfying.3. The subwoofer is essential. I would not recommend computer speakers without a subwoofer. The sub here is soft, deep, and pleasant, and it ties the whole system together. Once properly balanced, the set really works as a single, coherent system.4. Tested with 24-bit FLAC files.5. Cable lengths are generous and caused no issues.6. With realistic expectations and a bit of EQ, I can confidently recommend these.

Good basic desktop PC speakers, but something weird is going on
As a basic set of desktop PC speakers these are great value for money. Unfortunately, there is an issue with the sound cutting out in some circumstances. The Internet claims that this is down to a well-known Windows 10 software bug and, since these are analog speakers, there are no drivers to update to potentially solve the problem. However, my experience after two days of use is that it is not as simple as this.If you leave a video playing from an SSD without touching your PC, the sound will cut out after c.20 minutes, but if you fiddle with the sound level during playback it will play right through to the end without problem. If the sound does drop out, then turning the speakers off and then on again via the remote restores sound, but on one occasion I dropped the remote before switching it off and on again and the sound came back on!Update: after a couple of weeks the above problem sorted itself, but the speakers will enter a sort of 'sleep' mode if not used - adjusting the volume wakes them up.

Great sound
I love Logitech and all there gear ..their speakers are next level great price and good quality.. you can’t go wrong with.. highly recommend.. great sound clear and good over all control .. 🔥and now I have had them for a weeks I love them more.. small and compact but really pack a punch. They can shake the house and mean that .. not for everyone I know 🤣😩. I use them with my AKIA MPC .. for music production when not in the studio. Really good for jamming. For the money I want other set for the tv.. I can’t rate these enough. Real bang for your buck.. you will not be disappointed.

A good Logitech design is renamed but mostly unchanged
For the purpose of this review, we must travel to the Logitech R&D division, and listen in on a conversation between their top speaker system design engineers, Barry and Dean."Dean! The Boss says we need to create a new budget speaker system. What shall we do?""What's wrong with the old X-210, Barry? I've got one of those myself, it's pretty good. Nice bright sounding top end, good mid-range for vocals, and a lot more bass than you'd expect for the money. It's even got a headphone socket on it. All you have to do is plug it in the green 3.5mm socket on the back of your PC, then into the mains, switch it on and you're good to go. My kid could set it up! ""The Boss says we need to update it, and he wants the update out in the shops ASAP!""Blimey! What's the budget on that, Barry?" They only retail for about £50, and it's not like we're going to sell a billion of them.""Ah. Well...""Well what?""Well the Boss says there's no additional money beyond our current R&D budget.""WHAT?!""Yeah, I know...""Barry, you're telling me the Boss wants a new budget speaker system, ASAP, and with no additional R&D money?"That's about it, Dean. What are we going to do?""No worries, my son! Here's what we're going to do: We'll take the old X-210 sub-woofer and re-badge it. Change where we put the Logitech logo. Also, give it a bigger number: Forget the old X-210, we'll call this one the Z-313. Sounds completely different, yeah?""I'm with you. But what about the top speakers?""You remember we both did a design for the speakers before, but the Boss preferred your design?""Yeah?""Well this time we'll use *my* design, that the Boss rejected last time. We'll use the same speaker units, but bung them in my speaker case design. My design was better anyway, because it had a bass port in the front.""Dean, those little speakers don't have any bass to port, so why would you put a bass port on them?""If you've got a better design right now for free Barry, let's see it.""Good point, Dean.""Thank you. We can use the same control switch on it too.""Oooh! Are you sure, Dean? The old one was always a bit dodgy. You have to wiggle the one on your X-210 to get it to work sometimes.""Needs must Barry. Now, you go tell the Boss we're hard at the re-design, and I'll meet you down the pub. Cheers!""Cheers, Dean!"And there we have an insight into the tireless efforts of the Logitech engineers, doing their best on a minimal budget, and coming up with something that's worth buying, but not exemplary in any way, and is barely an evolution of an old design. (See pics)But at the end of the day, the old design was pretty good (dodgy wires aside). For the price, I reckon Barry and Dean have earned that pint. Recommended.

Uncompromised, rich and dynamic sound-quality from a tidy looking set of speakers.
I am a Music Student from Cambridge and I regularly use a variety of excellent sound systems to listen to music on. I was skeptical of these speakers, given their price, but trusted the reviews by others and went ahead. These speakers are simply sublime. Once you have plugged in your device using the 3.5mm cable provided, you will be delighted by rich mid/treble sounds and an appropriate level of bass frequencies. Yes, these won't give you quite the extended frequency range of the Logitech Z533's Logitech Z533 UK-Plug Multimedia Speaker System with Subwoofer, but honestly, these remain to be impressive speakers. Their only pitfall is that the sub-woofer does not give you the utility to adjust its volume separately and this would be a nice option to have. Nevertheless, I listen to a wide variety of music and as of yet, I have not experienced any dissatisfaction regarding bass volume.Pro's- These can be turned up loud without distorting the sound.A variety of music sounds good on them. Vocals are crystal clear, orchestral sounds are rich and electronic music sounds sharp and defined.- A nice matt-black finish and they don't collect dust easily. They look more expensive than they actually are.- The cables are long enough to space the speakers by out 2 meters, whilst still hiding them behind a cabinet etc.Con's- The volume of the bass speaker is not adjustable. I have not yet found its volume to be over/underwhelming, but nonetheless it would be nice to have the option there to adjust it.- The tweeter speakers could be heavier .. if you catch the cord on something they will move about quite easily. I purchased some 'Command Strips' to hold them down. Command Picture Hanging Strips Value PackOverall, a great set of speakers for the price. You won't be disappointed!

Big box, small sound
I didn't have high expectations for this but it didn't even meet those expectations. This is a larger than average set of PC speakers with sub woofer. What we actually have here is a large rattly box for a sub woofer with a slightly larger than normal pair of pc speakers. The pc speakers are extremely lightweight. main speakers connect via a cable from the subwoofer. The upshot of all this is that as soon as the volume is turned up even slightly the whole set up rattles to the point of being unusable. At lower volumes the bass from the sub woofer dominates so that it is unusable. There is no spearate bass control which to be fair I would not expect at this price point but as the sound goes from bass to speakers and not the other way around it is impossible to bypass the bass speaker. Once you ignore the subwoofer this is nothing more than a typical pair of ultra cheap pc speakers, the sub woofer controibutes nothing and merely raise the price and lowers the quality.avoid.

Great Customer Service
The package arrived damaged but still useable. I am giving 5 stars because the customer service was truly amazing. Quick to respond and very respectful. I appreciate the 5 star service. Now the product review I will say, for the weight and size, I am decently impressed. I am a speaker snob too. It isn't Bose. So don't expect that kind of quality. But it's a decent sound range for a beginner system. It only has a 3.5 mm speaker jack so don't expect 3 inputs (bass, left and right). I was a little puzzled by this. However, it works.

Decent. a good EQ/Filter will help.
I am using my z313 for more than a year, mostly for watching movies on my laptop. The speakers have decent sound, but the Subwoofer is too much bassy and overwhelming at higher volumes. There is no dedicated volume control for the Subwoofer to lower the Bass, so a good EQ/Filter will help. For me, adjustment in the VLC Audio Compressor Settings is a big help.
