Literally the best portable Bluetooth speaker I've ever owned. Used this on building sites, the beach, it's been dropped, rained on and still it works without issue and gives great sound. A charge lasts ages and it connects effortlessly every single time. Brilliant value for money and great reliable speaker.

I bought this speaker in late 2016, based on good reviews, a reasonable price, and the well-known, trusted brand. I’m writing this review now as I think it’s helpful to sometimes have a long term perspective as well as first impressions. When I first opened the box, I was impressed with the build quality, compact size, and sleek minimalist design. The front grille is made of thin perforated metal, featuring the brand name printed across it. All four sides and the rear are covered in a single, continuous rubberized coating, which feels tactile and velvety to the touch. It has an IPX5 waterproof rating, meaning it's splash-resistant and can handle water from any direction. While it’s not fully waterproof and shouldn’t be submerged, it can withstand some rain or spills. The "X" indicates that there is no rating for dust ingress, and the official definition for IPX5 water resistance is: “Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm (0.25 in)) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.” It arrived partially charged, and charging it further was relatively quick and simple; just plug in a micro USB cable, which triggers a small red light next to the port. There are no other indicators to show the battery charging status, apart from the red light switching itself off when fully charged, and beeping when almost flat. The speaker can be used while charging. The battery seems to last for quite a substantial time before needing to be recharged, especially for a small unit. I’ve used it for moderate periods of time each day for several days between charges. There is no automatic standby timer, so when it’s switched on, it stays on, with the blue light illuminated, even if nothing is playing through it. You could think of this as a sort of standby, albeit using some power for the electronics and LED, if not for the speakers. On the same side as the charging port is a socket for a standard 3.5 mm jack connector, marked as Aux In, allowing you to connect directly to a music source via wire rather than Bluetooth, if desired. Next to this is a small hole marked MIC, which is the microphone for using the speaker during things like telephone conference calls, which could be handy. Along the top are the main buttons for power, play/pause, Bluetooth connection, and volume control. These buttons are moulded into the rubber surface, which is quite sleek, although they are not always easy to see, especially in dim lighting. However, as they are embossed, they are fairly easy to find and distinguish by touch. Pressing and holding the power button for two seconds switches it on. This gives four fairly loud beeps, and switching off does the same. This is a bit unnecessary and can become an annoyance, as it can’t be turned down or disabled. Connecting to Bluetooth is quick and easy. Pressing the Bluetooth button on the speaker starts the blue light flashing and, yes, another two beeps. In your device settings it will show as “Anker SoundCore”. Select that and two more beeps confirms connection, the light stops flashing and remains illuminated for the duration of use. When connected to a music source, such as a smartphone or tablet, the volume can be adjusted either by pressing the buttons on the speaker or by changing the volume on your connected device. Using the +/- buttons on the speaker will cause the volume indicator on your device to move up or down simultaneously, allowing for easy control in both directions. It has two speakers, located at each side behind the front grille. They are rated at 6W total (2 x 3W), so not going to challenge full size hi-fi speakers, but it’s all in proportion. The sound quality is very good, particularly the bass, which tends to be the first aspect to question with small speakers. Hidden behind the front grille is a spiral tube between the speakers, called a “Bass Reflex Port”, which helps air flow to improve sound quality in the lower frequencies. I’d say in this case it’s quite impressive, and rivals that of speakers possibly twice the size. All good so far. -Pros: • Simple, modern design • Good value for money • Easy Bluetooth connectivity • Long battery life • IPX5 splash resistant • Usable for conference calls • Convenient compact size • Strong build quality • Reliability and longevity -Cons: • Buttons slightly difficult to see in low light • Loud beeping sound when switching on/off • Shows fingerprints easily • Less bass sound than larger speakers • No battery percentage indicator Overall, this is a very good product, and after nine years of regular use, it’s still going strong and looks pretty much like new. I bought this speaker 18 months ago and I have to say, it's brilliant, never once let me down! I keep it permanently connected to my Echo show as it (Echco) is place inside a tv cabinet and the built in speaker is muffled in there. This speaker spreads sound around my room and I love it! It's small and compact. Manufactured to a high standard, has a very solid feel to it, but not heavy. Definitely portable! The sound is punchy, and doesn't lose quality when played on higher volume settings. The controls are basic, you don't need to faff about with lots of buttons. It's incredibly easy to set up, the connection to bluetooth is very quick and has excellent stability. It looks neat and stylish in the black with blue led light.

Fantastic product! Works great; build quality is amazing, and I can use it during charging. The only thing missing- fast-forward- oh, I miss this function A LOT! I didn't even imagine it could not have it. The speaker itself is superb, and I really love it. But again, the lack of FF is a huge downer.

Some purchases in life are gold. This speaker is one of them. Ive had it for years.abused it travelling , doing building work , plastering ,painting. Its been dropped , battered and covered in everything. Its cleans off great with its rubber coating and works perfectly. Good size. Good sound. Long battery. Perfect size for travelling . Incredible value for money. The one sole irritation it that its a few seconds and a firm press to start up but it stops it being turned on accidentally i suppose. Def recommend.

This speaker must be one of the best sounding blue tooth speakers available - amazing sound , the only thing it struggles with is the lower notes from a piano , they're just not very clear , so unless you only play heavily biased music with piano's this speaker is fantastic - and the battery life is amazing , only charged this speaker once since receiving it and has been used for as least 8 hours and still at 60 % charge , the 24 hour claim may be under estimated

WAMBAM - kleine Kiste, mächtig Wumms. Hatte zuerst überlegt nen bisschen was Größeres zu nehmen. Doch die 6W reichen völlig aus, da ich ja keine Disco will. Durch die kompakte und robuste Bauform, zuzüglich des geringen Gewichts, ca.360g Transportgewicht sind absolut vertretbar, der exorbitanten Laufzeit und des robusten Gehäuses, ist der Soundcore der ideale Begleiter für Fahrradtouren oder jegliche andere Outdoorbetätigung. Lediglich gegen eine Kettensäge kommt er nicht an - MUAHAHAHA Die Tonqualität ist bei entsprechendem Ausgangsmaterial fast perfekt. Auch im Bassbereich kommt mehr heraus, als man von einem solch kleinen Treiber erwarten kann. Auch bei maximalem Pegel halten sich die Übersteuerungsspitzen in Grenzen. Lediglich bei schlecht Kodiertem und überkomprimierten Inhalten wird nur noch Müll ausgegeben. Das liegt dann allerdings am Ursprung und nicht an der Klangausgabe. Da ich beim Fahrradfahren grundsätzlich keine Kopfhörer trage, ist es mir nun möglich, Musik am Lenker zu hören, oder auch dank Freisprecheinrichtung zu telephonieren. Hände weg vom Smartphone am Steuer, denn der Pokétod lauert überall !!!!! Wenn er sich positiv bewährt, darf der größere Anker für die Grillparty gerne dazu kommen. Preis/Leistung ist im Verhältnis Spitze. Mehr kann nur erwarten, wer viermal soviel Geld ausgeben will. Eine Fahrradsourroundmusikanlage von Burmester wäre mir dann doch zu teuer. Verarbeitung tadellos - Bei Made in China kann man sich in Europa manchmal warm anziehen. ABSOLUTE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG

Prodotto davvero molto soddisfacente per: buona qualità audio con dimensioni ridotte, efficacia del bluetooth, durata eccellente tra una ricarica e l'altra e, piccola parentesi estetica, bel design e colore (abbiamo acquistato la versione rossa). Acquistata principalmente per sopperire al pessimo audio del pc portatile, si rivela utile per ascoltare musica in ogni stanza della casa spostando solo il piccolo dispositivo e collegandolo al telefono. Pienamente soddisfatti del rapporto qualità/prezzo. Spedizione arrivata in anticipo, imballaggio adeguato.

Questo speaker è molto bello, all'esterno è leggermente gommato ma liscissimo. Il suono è ottimo, i bassi si sentono bene (è pur sempre un piccolo speaker). E' ottimo da usare anche all'esterno, per esempio se si fa una festa in giardino, perché basta connetterlo via Bluetooth al cellulare e si può cambiare canzone in tutta comodità anche a distanza dallo speaker. Il volume al massimo è molto alto ed è sorprendente che tutto quel casino fuoriesca da un aggeggio così piccolo. Si può connettere anche con un cavo aux al pc se questo è sprovvisto di Bluetooth. La batteria è eterna. E' stato utilizzato per giorni senza nemmeno fare la prima carica. Non ci sono aspetti negativi da segnalare. Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto!

.....ich kenne Leute die haben eine ähnliche Box (selbe Größe) eines namhaften Hersteller, die um ein vielfaches mehr kostet, dabei den Sound in beide Richtungen transportiert und einen tollen klaren fetten Sound wieder gibt. Den direkten Vergleich zwischen der namhaften teureren Box und der Anker habe ich nicht (im Ohr) ich kann nur sagen, dass ich mit der ANKER mehr als zufrieden bin. Der Sound dieser BOX wird in "nur" eine Richtung transportiert, ist satt, klar und laut genug um eine Grillparty im kleineren Kreise zu rocken, oder die Box mit in der Urlaub, oder sonstwohin mit zu nehmen. Auch am Laptop verrichtet die ANKER gute Arbeit. Die Bässe kommen (für die Größe) fett und das Gesamtbild des Sound ist super. Zu dem Preis eine tolle mobile Box! Stabiles Gehäuse und super verarbeitet, was will man mehr ???

Ich würde eher sagen knapp 60 Stunden und sie ist noch lange nicht alle! Die Musikbox SoundCore von Anker ist der Hammer. Der Sound überzeugt die Bluetooth- und Klangreichweite, sowie Lautstärke ebenfalls. Das schlagende Argument ist allerdings wirklich neben dem Klang die Akkulaufzeit. Ich habe die Box am 14.07. bekommen, bin den Anweisungen des Herstellers gefolgt und habe sie zuerst einmal geladen. Wir haben heute den 03.09., die Box war mit mir auf einem Festival, wo sie quasi im Dauerbetrieb lief, sie war häufig bis spät in die Nacht am Strand (Ich empfehle sie in eine Tüte zu Packen, der Sound bleibt gleich) und läuft täglich wenn ich am PC sitze. Das Ladekabel liegt seit dem 14.07. unangetastet in der Ecke und wird laut Anzeige dort noch eine sehr lange Zeit bleiben. Zuletzt muss ich noch erwähnen, dass die Verarbeitung und Materialwahl top sind. Das Gehäuse ist komplett aus rutschfestem Gummi. Fazit: Wer eine Box sucht um mal draußen mit Freunden beim Lagerfeuer oder sonstigem Musik zu hören, ist mit dem SoundCore sehr gut bedient. Um den Akku muss man sich wie gesagt keine Sorgen machen, die Bedienung ist kinderleicht, die Lautstärke stimmt (Ich habe sie selten auf voller Lautstärke, da sie sehr Laut sein kann) und sie ist top verarbeitet.
