Mobility Scooter Control Panel / Tiller Cover from Ducksback

I am absolutely delighted with this control panel cover. The electronics are the most sensitive part of a mobility scooter, and this gives complete peace of mind when out and about in unpredictable British weather. It fits over the controls beautifully and stays securely in place. The clear plastic window is completely see-through, so you can easily check the battery gauge and see all the buttons without any glare. Best of all, the material is flexible enough that you can press the switches and use the controls effortlessly right through the cover. It keeps the rain and damp out perfectly. Brilliant value for money. A must-have accessory!

I have to use my Shoprider Sovereign daily to walk my dog so am frequently worry about the weather - from a few, threatening drops to a full-on downpour - potentially drenching and blowing my scooters's switches, Here's a well-made, simple solution that's easy to fit and protects the console whilst being a generous fit which leaves plenty of room for the key and unimpeded use of the controls. It goes on in seconds thanks to the easy and adjustable velcro straps and provides secure protection to the vulnerable, exposed parts of a mobility scooter.

This was bought to cover my Geo 8 plus controls. It fits OK, once on it was quite snug and if you need to change the speed or press the buttons you have to do it through the plastic, but as I don't really use the buttons it isn't an issue for me. Other than that it seems well made and durable enough for my purposes.

Product arrived as advised by the supplier and was as described. That is where the good bits end . I was charged £4.59 for post and packing. The product arrived in a black plastic bag and nothing else. delivered by our normal postman. The parcel weighed a total of 65 grams and would have cost the supplier either 69p for a large letter or £2.49 for a small package by second class mail meaning a mail over charge of £2.01p at least. Is this a way of boosting their profits?? Why can some suppliers not be truthful about their product prices and postage prices instead of trying to baffle us. I know this is not an unusual practice normally I can tell but got caught this time as I could not find another supplier. Needless to say I will not use this supplier again nor would I recommend them. I hope the supplier read this

Really useful to have in the basket of your scooter. Covers the tiller nicely and good piece of mind knowing that it will protect the electronics if caught out in the rain.
