Very pleased with this varnish , it lifts the colours in my acrylic painting , easy to use , milky texture , but dries clear leaving a satin sheen .

This did exactly what I wanted it to do. It left a nice even sheen on my acrylic pictures with no smudges, smears or drips. I simply poured a little in a plastic beaker and used a wide brush head to apply 2/3 coats, following instructions to ensure an even finish.

This Varnish is Very Good . I purchased some to Varnish over my Finished Acrylic Painting & What a Lovely Finish it has Done 👍 I think it's a Good Idea to Varnish over your Finished Work of Art ...Firstly It Protects the Painting & also it Enhances the Colours slightly which is Great !!! Always Leave your Painting to Fully Dry first before you apply this Varnish I normally leave my ACRYLIC Paintings to Dry for 3 Weeks or More Before I Give them a Coat of Varnish 👍 I also find Laying your Painting flat on Floor or Table using some old cardboard so No Varnish Drips Damage Table or Carpet . I Feel Laying the Painting Flat Stops the Varnish from Running 👍 Just apply Varnish Evenly With a Clean Soft Brush Working From Top Left Corner straight even Strokes over to Right corner & Then Work the same way Left to right Making sure you give the Painting a nice even Coverage working your way down the Painting. This Varnish does Dry Fairly quickly, If you do see an area you have missed Wait till painting has dried & then repeat the same method again I Think 2 coats is Just PERFECT Using this Stuff 👌 Also Do Not shake the Bottle Always stir it before Use . I’m a professional watercolor artist trying out acrylics. The learning curve for me was using enough of the medium. I was using too little and missing coverage. I found it easier to use on my higher quality canvas that also had more variety in the painting (bride/groom, the painting hides more flaws). I also varnished some paint pours that were on cheaper canvas and struggled with them all. The painting itself didn’t hide flaws as well. I went back and ordered the high gloss for those and had better success. I also learned to use more medium so perhaps the satin may have work better as well when I try it again.
