MONIN Premium Almond Orgeat Syrup 700ml for Coffee and Cocktails. Vegan-Friendly, 100% Natural Flavours and Colourings

I use Monin Orgeat (almond-flavoured) syrup when making cocktails such as tiki drinks, Mai Tais and Daiquiris. It’s an important ingredient for these cocktails, adding both interest and complexity to drinks. Being a syrup, it has a high sugar content (and is therefore quite sweet!), but when used sparingly in cocktails it helps balance the acidity of other ingredients. Naturally flavoured with almonds, it has an authentic taste rather than an artificial one, with a rich almond flavour reminiscent of amaretti biscuits or marzipan. It’s best known for use in Mai Tais (one of my favourites), where it balances the sharpness of lime juice whilst adding a distinctive flavour of its own. The syrup has a cloudy, milky appearance, a great fragrance, and is truly indispensable for cocktail enthusiasts. If you’re considering buying an orgeat syrup, the Monin brand is definitely a good choice. It has an authentic flavour and is commonly found in bars (and many of Monin’s other syrups are used in coffee shops). Thoroughly recommended if you’re looking for an excellent orgeat syrup.

This brand is the best for strength of flavour and the glass bottles are in my opinion the best option

This added a lovely flavour to my Mai Tais! Monin syrups are high quality and this one is no exception. Tasty and unique almond flavour.

This is a good Orgeat. It has good thickness and mouthfeel. The taste is excellent, a distinctive almond taste without being overwhelmingly nutty. There is a sophistication to the flavour which I like and which I think works well in complex cocktails. It makes a very good Mai Tai.

Love this coffee syrup flavour lovely rich n sweet it's not the cheapest, but is the same brand that is used in coffee shops like Costa and Starbucks, so it is a nice treat to use a home, makes coffee taste of almond biscuit. But its very easy to use it quickly so if you're watching your weight or sugar intake don't get it , I'd recommend the sweet freedom brand for you instead but don't know if they have almond flavour.

If you are into making cocktails, this is one for your store or bar. It does a very good job and works well in all the cocktails that I have made with it.

Always use Monin Orgeat syrup in Mai Tais. Does the job perfectly, however, it is now 30% more expensive on Amazon than it was a year ago.

I’ve been buying this syrup regularly for a reason — it’s hands down the best almond flavour I’ve found for coffee at home. It’s smooth, rich, and has that perfect nutty sweetness without tasting fake or overly sugary. I mainly use it in iced lattes and hot coffee, but it also works great in baking or even a sneaky cocktail now and then. It blends easily and never leaves any weird aftertaste. The fact that it’s vegan and gluten-free is a bonus too. I’ve tried a few other brands but always come back to Monin. It’s just reliable, high quality, and the bottle lasts a decent amount of time (unless you're as hooked as I am!).
