Very well made and do exactly as advertised.
I needed them to strip 34 swg wire and these made an easy job of it which shows just how well and accurately they are made

Superb wire strippers, especially for really tiny wires.
These are absolutely spectacularly good wire strippers for those really thin fiddly wires which seem to have super-humanly strong insulation; you know the type, it breaks your thumbnail if you try to strip it that way, or blunts your teeth if you try that... These have razor sharp cutouts for stripping; you do need to make sure you use the right gauge hole, too lose and it'll shave the insulation closer than a 5-blade razor, too tight and it'll take some of the copper strands with it (or shave the solid conductor, see above). Be aware that these come in two sizes - one goes from 0.25mm to 0.95mm, the the other does from 0.8 to 2.5mm. I have the smaller one - in fact, I have two, because I lost the first ones (then found them after I'd bought a replacement. They're not cheap, but they're excellent quality and I highly recommend them.

Excellent, they handle finer wire than most of the alternatives
These are excellent. They're well made, precise and they can strip finer wire than some of the alternatives, they go down to 34 AWG (0.25 mm). This is fantastic because they can even handle the very fine wire wrap wire that I use for connections on PCBs when building electronics. Highly recommended if you're constructing anything with fine connector wire.

The best wire strippers I have come across
These are easy and reliable to use. Being Japanese the build quality is excellent. The handles are comfortable and look and feel resilient. From reading a 2015 review I expected the spring to be weak. Evidently someone in Osaka took note and rectified the issue; my spring is fairly strong (but not too stiff). Probably most buyers use these in electronics but my interest is in modelling. So it might be useful to know that the metric wires that can be stripped are: 0.25, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.65, 0.8 and 0.95mm diameters. Plenty of metric wires are 1mm and the 0.95mm dia setting works fine.

Precisely what was needed.
I have never used electrical wire strippers before these. I trust Japanese engineering and these have been every bit as good as I hoped they would be. Light, compact, clearly very sharp. They are so far managing to successfully remove the toughest 30 year old insulation ever on 24AWG multi strand copper and only lost a hair or two, so far, even with a novice operating them. I know where I will be looking when I need to do electrical wiring less miniscule than the PA-14 range allows.

if you want the best buy these.
As far as I’m concerned, this is the final boss of wire‑stripping. I’ve used every other design—automatic, manual, gimmicky, over‑engineered, under‑engineered—and nothing even approaches these. If you want the best, buy these. If you prefer the inferior, buy something else. There is that which is meet, and there are other brands, which are not. I favour the engineer’s manufactory above all else.

No nicks, very sharp, not really heavy and a good grip, it'd be easy to use for long periods.
These are very nice. A bit pricey for what you actually get, but if you do a lot of work with wire, they're worth it. I stripped a little bit off a piece of 30AWG wire, then stripped a bit more. I looked at the wire where it made the cut for the first strip under (very) high magnification and didn't see any nicks in the wire at all. So these are really good wire strippers. Some others I had (much older) would nick the wire some times, and once that happens, it will break sooner or later. So I trust these strippers. In other words, "I like 'em!"

Worth the price, treat them well.
These are really precise and let you make super fine connections. This is really useful for working on micro computer gear etc. I'm very happy I chose these ones.

Wow, a well engineered tool
This is ideal, for working with pre wired micro SMD LEDs. WOW. It’s gauged only for 22 gauge to 34 gauge wire stripping, and that’s exactly why I got it. The pair seems a bit big in the photo, and I’m not sure why as there isn’t anything in the pic to compare it to. It’s not large at all. It’s about the size of a smaller needle nose pliers. 17.5 cm or 7 inch. It’s just right. Not big and heavy, but - trust me - really engineered well. The wire that I needed this for is so fine even trying to melt the insulation off the wire actually burns the wire right off! When I first used it I thought I had put the wire in the size slightly too big for it and assumed the wire just slipped through. NOPE! It’s just that darn sharp and its jaw shape is just that well designed. No resistance. No cut into my super fine wire. Just the perfect tool for this. And yes! this stripper is so fine and delicate when it works thru a wire end, you feel no resistance! I know the insulation is lighter with this size wire but it’s just a fluid experience. And I know you don’t need an aesthetic experience when you strip wire. What I’m saying is this is really engineered with excellence. It works without tugging or clamping into a wire with a stupid - hard grip. This stripper is so great. I now call it my best wiring tool. Wow. I feel dumb I didn’t buy it sooner. You get your moneys worth, here.
