Yes, this is a side entry tape so rods can be inserted after tape is attached to blind. It is slotted along it's full length

Tape is 17.5mm wide enough for dowels if you sew it close to edge

Which edge of the tape do i stitch? i understand i only need to stitch the top edge but how do i know which edge should be placed at the top?

Hi, the tape is a side entry type so you will notice there are openings on one side of the tube (to insert the rods) . The openings go towards the bottom of your blind
