High Voltage® Classic Cream Formula Colour Hair Dye 118ml (Vampire® Red)

Wow wow wow this has to be the best hair dye I've used so far and definitely worth the investment! I'd previously used much cheaper brands including directions and recently crazy colour which took 2 rounds of dying to fully saturate pre lightened hair and nearly the full bottle but this stuff is 10x more pigmented and I didn't even use that much in the tub at all and it's this bright in one go! So far I haven't experienced much staining at all as other reviews have stated and honestly, with the right cleaning products, any that I did get on my bathroom surfaces have come up just fine. £20 for 2 tubs might seem like a lot but honestly with how little I used on the first go, these 2 tubs are going to last me over a year! Very very happy and I looked fabulous for my friends wedding!

I used to use manic panic when I was at university, but haven't used it for years. Recently I lost my hair to chemo and it grew back prematurely grey. It was making me a bit miserable so I decided to dye it a bright colour and went back to manic panic. You DO have to be prepared for it to dye your life as well as your hair for a little while, but it IS a temporary colour, it comes off things. When I used it back in the day I'd clean the shower right after dying it so as not to annoy anyone. This time I live alone and so just didn't bother to clean up, I was surprised when on my next shower almost all of it came off the wall of its own accord. The rest came off easily the next time I cleaned the shower. It comes off skin easily too, although I'd recommend vaseline around the hairline before dying. I actually managed to get some on the white painted wall at one point and it came off with an alcohol wipe. The only place I have trouble getting it off is my finger nails. The colour is much more vibrant than I expected, clearly grey hair agrees with it, I'm very happy with it. It's very easy to apply and was gentle on my newly grown hair. I have plenty left for additional colouring over the next month or two, it is too soon to say when I'll need to reapply.

Bought Manic Panic High Voltage Classic Cream (Atomic Turquoise) for my daughter, who treats her hair colour like a subscription service — new shade every month. The colour payoff is fantastic. Atomic Turquoise is vibrant, bold, and exactly the kind of “you’ll notice it from across the street” blue-green you’d hope for. It goes on smoothly and distributes evenly. What really impressed me is how well it lasts. Even with her washing her hair every single day (despite my ongoing water-saving campaign), the colour holds up far better than expected. It fades nicely rather than going patchy. It leaves hair feeling in good condition too — not dry or straw-like, which is always a concern with frequent colour changes. If you’re after a bright, statement colour that doesn’t disappear after a week, this is a great choice. Five stars. Bold, long-lasting, and apparently worth ignoring my water lectures for.

i’ve used this for years and although it is a beautiful, vibrant colour and leaves my hair super soft and healthy it just STAINS EVERYTHING. it bleeds in the rain, it ruins bathroom walls and guest towels when i stay somewhere, just a nightmare. but if that doesn’t bother you then this is the best colour!

I previously bought the blue hair dye from this brand, and it worked amazingly well. Because of that great experience, I trusted the brand completely and bought their purple dye with full confidence. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. My hair’s base color is level 7, almost level 8 — very light — so any decent dye should have no problem showing up. But despite the light base and applying the product thoroughly and evenly, the purple dye still had very weak coverage and poor color payoff. A lot of sections didn’t take the color at all, and the parts that did developed into strange, inconsistent shades: grayish purple, bluish purple, dull gray-blue, and even a muddy greenish tint. Considering how well their blue dye performed, this product was a huge letdown. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the purple dye.

Gorgeous colour, easy to apply, vegan! Doesn’t smell too strong. Will venture and try different colours too. Doesn’t last overly long but NO colour does from anywhere.

It works good and can see colour brightly but if u have unbleached brown hair it goes kinda green. I like it but it’s not like it said

It’s recommended to use 2 tubs on long hair, my hair is relatively long and i only had to use one which is a bonus! I’ve used many many colours over the years and this is the only one that has strongly taken to my hair. i DID use bleach for my brightest sections, admittedly for the most vibrant results bleach is a must for any dye. The colour has stayed vibrant and i have had it for 2 weeks so far, i also ended up using this colour on my boyfriend!

Il prodotto è estremamente pigmentato, quindi ne basta pochissimo per ottenere un buon risultato. Io consiglio di non esagerare con la quantità, perché aggiungere più colore non lo rende più intenso, ma tende solo a sporcare pelle e vestiti durante i lavaggi e quando si suda. Meglio mescolarlo con una maschera idratante (piuttosto che solo balsamo) per distribuirlo meglio e ottenere una sfumatura più uniforme. Va applicato con moderazione e su capelli ben preparati, soprattutto se decolorati. Nel complesso il colore è bello, ma va usato con criterio per evitare eccessi e risultati poco puliti.

First time bleaching, put in the dye, was really nervous how light it was when i applied the red passion. I used two and a half tubs, when i washed it out, it was a bright red. I loved how it didnt look like a murder scene when washing it out. It didnt stain like other dyes, and didnt smell like others do. You gotta remember its a black light dye, so its going to come out neon red not cherry red. Clown red is what it is, but i love it 100%.
