I have sand will this be ok ?

Yes, My tank has only sand on bottom for my cat fish, remember to use them both together, follow instructions to the letter. The waste control helps with the cleaning of your filters, reduces the sludgy built up inside, also on plants rocks ect, use both together. Tony.

Really good stuff it is highly concentrated bacteria that removes ammonia and nitrite quickly and safely. No amount of water changes will add bacteria they just dilute the toxins
