IKEA VIKARE - Guard rail, white

Great product. Still using it 2 years after it was bought.

Perfect for my daughters toddler bed, couldn’t find any mesh ones that would fit her bed size and mattress. This just grips onto the sides and works really well. Doesn’t move at all once adjusted, really sturdy. The price is more than IKEA, however our nearest IKEA is 2hours drive and this isn’t in stock so well worth the extra for it to arrive within 3days!

I’m so happy with this rail it fits perfectly and feels very secure it gives me peace of mind and isn’t garish I have just bough another one so it will go the length of the bed

Looks very good and nicely done but far to short. Not suitable at all. Installed on two screws was just 2-3 cm above the materace - not high enough to stop todler from falling.

I love that we got this rail as opposed to any of the giant mesh ones out in the market. It's discreet, elegant, perfect size to prevent rolling out of bed but not bulky at all. My toddler can easily jump over it to get in and out and I can lean over even when Im sitting on the floor! The only issue is that the grippers are not adjustable and they don't fit our crib wood frame very well. This makes the bar wobbly. However, my daughter leans on it when she rolls on her sleep and it doesn't fall so I don't really consider it to be a big deal given how much I like it otherwise!

We already have one of these for my daughters bed but needed one for the other side. Unfortunately it was massively over priced but with our local Ikea now closed and lockdown making shopping more difficult, we had to give in and get it from Amazon. The actual bed guard is good though.

Really great guard. More expensive than direct from IKEA but I got fed up of waiting for them to be in stock and you kind-of need this to hand for that evening your child decides they suddenly want to be in a big bed. We managed to fit this to the side of our cot bed but as we don’t have a deep lip next to the mattress it’s not as sturdy as it should be. But it does the job and is much better than those large barriers you can buy. Our daughter can climb over it which is fine but she doesn’t fall out of bed.

Bought my son a Emma mattress it’s so much thicker then a standard mattress. Meant that when my son was asleep in the mattress he was higher then the safety bars. Fixed this on top to make the bars higher worked like a charm

Lo he usado desde siempre con mis tres hijos. Hace su trabajo sin afear la estética de la habitación y se ajusta perfectamente. Eso si, si tus niños se columpian mucho en la barandilla debes apretar los tornillos de vez en cuando. Debo resaltar el envío pues, aunque lo consigues mucho más barato en en para los que no tenemos un Ikea cerca es muy cómodo poder recibirlo en casa y al día siguiente de hacer el pedido.

Produit reçu très rapidement et bien emballé. S'adapte parfaitement au lit de mon fils. Je suis rassurée au fait qu'il ne tombera pas de son lit. Montage rapide, reçu sans mode d'emploi.

La sbarra è davvero utile nei casi in cui non è possibile usare le sponde classiche. Unica pecca : dovrebbero essere un po'più alte.

Wir haben nach einem Schutz aus Holz gesucht, aber schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht mit diesen Plastikteilen in denen ein Netz eingearbeitet war. Dachten dies ist ein Versuch wert für den Preis und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Easy aufzubauen, sieht schlicht aus, passt auf alle Kinderrahmen und lässt sich auch Mal mit ihn den Urlaub nehmen. Wir nutzen es nun schon seit 3 Monaten, es sitzt immer noch bombenfest, obwohl unsere Tochter ständig darüberklettert und musste bis dato auch nicht nachgezogen werden. Sehr zu empfehlen!
