Liberty Shield Lite VPN Router - Connect every device to VPN, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Fast Streaming Speeds, Multi Country, Pre-Configured Plug & Play

I have used Liberty Shield VPN Routers for years now and found them to be very reliable. It’s easy to set up and use and the price is very competitive. The signal strength is always very good and in my experience does not drop out. The size of the router makes it very discreet next to your internet suppliers router and this also makes it very portable. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a secure connection or when looking to watch Uk TV while overseas.

This product works for me. It was exactly what I was looking for. The set-up and installation is extremely easy even for someone like me who is not technically inclined. All the information on Liberty Shield website is useful and easy to understand and follow.

It slows down speed quite dramatically so need to sign on to Liberty shield web site to find the ultimate server for you (free of charge).. If this is a big problem then there is a pro version for more bucks that doesnt use up as much. Just need to think about your normal speed and probably half it for vpn with this version. You will probably need between 10 to 20 mps to avoid stuttering on iptv. Just for pc and laptops etc - absolutely fine. ON THE WHOLE WORKING FINE FOR ME. May upgrade later.

The only positive thing I can say about this VPN Router is that it was easy to set up. On a negative side, it has 3 major issues which I consider to be critical. In order of priority: - LibertyShield as a VPN provider should be ashamed of their service. The service drops far too regularly... and it is definitely their service as the broadband connection is working perfectly when not routed through the VPN. As a paying customer, I expected the service to be up 100% of the time. - Connection speeds reduce dramatically when routing through the VPN... and I mean via an ethernet cable and not the WiFi. If you stream anything that is in HD then expect poor buffering and a video stream that stops and starts. Even loading a stream is noticeably slower. Again regular broadband has no such issue. - The WiFi signal is very poor. Basically, if you are intending to connect this to a media device then make sure that device can be connected via an ethernet cable. The WiFi is also extremely slow both to connect to and download/upload transfer rates. In short, I paid for a year’s subscription after the free trial as there was a 50% offer and I cannot see myself renewing unless LibertyShield dramatically improve the consistency of their service. There are most definitely better products and services available.

Ordered this router after deciding that I didn't want to faff about myself with settings on generic routers for VPN services. I was looking to stream UK content from Turkey, and also access various geo-blocked websites. I had recently purchased a set top box onto which a VPN or DNS settings could not be loaded, so I needed another solution. The router arrived perfectly pacakged with a quick start guide - it really was as simple as activate online, then plug and play. The service works perfectly and it's great to have a separate router which is effectively a connection to the UK for any devices that need it. Highly recommend!

I purchased this product based on the reviews and a recommendation, I also got the 1 year subscription. Theres a few things to note, good and bad. The Good: 1. Setup was easy, the team do mostly everything for you 2. It opens up everything, nothing is restricted, I can watch all the movies from all over the world now. 3. Speed on LAN is great all over my house, even running over various switches in various rooms. Now the bad. 1. Wifi is crap and when I say crap, I mean appalling, constant dropouts, slow speeds, ages to connect - you name it. 2. If like me you're on an English named home telephone provider with foreign speaking customer service then you might come across problems with anything connecting to switches and/or your broadband. I found a way round it but only through trial and error. Once it works its great! 3. The cable that is supplied to go from your router to the box, what is that all about? I have seen longer legs on a worm! 4. And finally....Sometimes....just sometimes.....(at least 3 times on occasion) connections drop completely and if I am watching something, I have to restart my MAG box completely just to watch what I want to watch (No, it's not my settings, the router actually loses connection, I had it checked) I am unsure if I will be renewing my subscription unless things improve with the wifi as this is essential too - The yearly cost needs to be reviewed also, I am sure there are many companies out there who would be happy to take my money :-)

Easy to set up, I was connected in less than ten minutes. Great customer service, helped to configure the router once I had a line drop, they sorted the problem straight away (initial configuration I did was wrong, nothing wrong with the router). The subscription is the average for VPN providers, not very expensive. Although 2.4 GHz WiFi (with Lite router version), I do get speeds of up to 24 Mbs on WiFi. Cable speed is more or near the actual ISP speed. Obviously the further VPN server, the slower your connection will become, but you'd only need 5 Mbs speed to stream HD contents. I recommend 5*

Does exactly as disciribed and needed . Good item

La conexión es algo lenta pero funciona bastante bien lo que no me ha gustado es que el alimentador es uk y no eu

good product

C'est exactement ce que je cherchais ! Tres simple. On reçoit le routeur, on le branche, on s'inscrit sur internet (abonnement VPN) on attend 10 minutes et ca marche ! NB : le service client est en anglais.

This is an amazing product. Connecting it to internet very simple and breezy. The VPN is really working well and able to access the streaming channels freely.

Veramente ottimo.
