Good for everyday use, but sound leakage is high
These headphones are good for normal everyday use. The sound quality is nice, and overall they are comfortable and work well for casual listening. However, one downside is that the sound leaks out quite a lot, so people nearby can hear it very clearly. Apart from that, it is a good product for the price.

Great for the price
For the price (less than ยฃ10), these seem to be ridiculously good headphones. Reasonably comfortable, clear sound. They come with an adaptor from 3.5mm on the cable to 6.35mm (1/4") - clip-on rather than my preferred screw-on adaptor, but again... ten quid!!! I'd buy again.

Not Brilliant But Certainly Not Bad!!
I purchased these for making music with my midi controller and sound card. First off you can't compare these to a set of high quality Roland studio headphones such as the RH-200 which I used to own a long time ago. They will run you ยฃ80 to ยฃ90. Even those Rolands aren't the best you can get. Roland makes some that are a lot better but now you're spending well over ยฃ100. It used to be that the ยฃ80 set was the starting point for anyone looking to make music but I was certainly surprised by the quality of these as soon as I put them on. I set everything to 24bit 48khz and the resolution is excellent. On the downside, I do hear a little bit of buzz and breakup when I play certain grand piano Vsti instruments. But it's not much and it only shows up with instruments that produce very deep bass. These particular headphones (according to other reviews) are known to produce excessive bass so I will experiment with some eq tweaking. Everything else just sounds really good. One more negative worth a mention. Someone said that they do not hurt your ears at all. I've only ever had a few headphones in my life that don't hurt after prolonged use and these are no exception. It really depends on your ears. No company in the world can make a set of headphones that are a perfect fit for everyone and these started to make my ears a little sore after about a solid hour of use. Not bad. Perhaps they're break in with wear! I got mine for ยฃ15 shipped and I can tell you that I've spent 20 years buying a variety of headphones (always on the look out for a bargain) and these are indeed a great bargain. Update: 10th of March 2014. Several days later: I've had these now for several days and I thought I'd come back and give a small update. The headphones actually did "break in" believe it or not and no longer hurt my ears. I did bend them a couple of times to take some of the excess tension of the band. Be careful you don't break them! I've been listening to some old albums that I love such as Brian Eno's Music for Airports and some other electronica. These old analog albums are the hardest for a set of "modern" headphones to handle as they were made long before the days of digital recording technology. I really love these headphones and I highly recommend anyone on a budget who's looking for great sound reproduction!

Behringer hps3000 headphones
Bought for my daughter to use with her e-drum kit. Good clear sound, whilst blocking surrounding noise. Also comes with adapter for headphone jack, which is great to have. Happy with headphones at a great price.

No sound at all at low volumes
Unfortunately, I was forced to return these headphones the same day the package arrived. Plus points: Good looking headphones and fit comfortably over the ears, so no pressure points or potential sore spots. Nice long cable of reasonably good quality. Very bad point: The sound coming out of the headphones (connected to my vintage piano) was very, very low, even at high volume. I had to put the volume up to maximum to hear the notes with any clarity. I was so surprised that I grabbed the headphones which I use for video conferences and the thin ones which I use with my mobile phone and with both of these it was possible to hear every note played, even when the volume was turned down to the lowest point. Having heard so much about this brand it was quite a disappointment. Perhaps the one I received was a dud, who knows? I shall just have to keep looking.

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY!
First of all, GREAT SERVICE from AMAZON did not expect it so fast...THANK YOU The HPS3000 is great value for money, I got them for playing the piano not to disturb the neighbours, so I can practice for as long as I want, actually it works, you can faintly hear what's going on around you so not 100% sound blocking, but is quite good, the quality sound is very sharp excellent... they are soft on top and comfortable to wear, I have a small head and ears so fits quite well, they look pretty robust and look good, the cable is thick not flimsy at all, also comes with a 3.5mm jack as well as the 6.35mm that you have to unscrew if you don't need a 6.35mm, but could come handy... if you take care of them, it will last you for quite a long time, I actually like them and feel that for the wonderful price of just over ยฃ13.00 I think is a steal! They are great for adults so long your head is average and children, I totally recommend this product 100%

Great for the price - 5yr review
I bought these in 2019, they still work absolutely fine - I'm grateful to the reviewer at that time who mentioned that the cable is a bit thin. It is. I've been 'normally' careful with the cable and it's lasted just fine. No crackles, breaks etc. I've had more expensive, thicker guitar cables which have not lasted as long. The sound is decent, as good as you'd expect from anything in this price range. I've used these on a pretty much weekly basis with laptops, DAWs, amplifiers and mixers - all good. So providing you don't use them as a yo-yo or drop 'em in a river, these headphones are likely to be as good as you'd want for this money. Definitely worth the price IMHO.

Great budget set of cans for recording!
I bought these for their specified purpose, recording! They are very flat sounding and not at all "peaky" or biased like what some folk will come to expect with "DJ" type headphones. They are not noise cancelling or anything, they just do one thing - produce good quality audio, which is not biased. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and they fit far better than my Sennheisers do! These have worked a treat for me whilst recording some vocals, recording multiple instruments and doing edits. I've got some really good monitoring at home, and yet one pass with these on and I found things which I couldn't hear on the speakers! The sound is very tight and controlled. I tend to use these more than the speakers now, for general recording work. I don't see how you can go wrong with these, and at the price - they are unbeatable. I have other headphones - but these are my permanent set for recording because: 1/ very comfortable 2/ balanced, easy to manage sound 3/ does not fatigue my ears after a long recording session 4/ they work! And when they stop working, I'll buy some more! Can you buy better headphones? Yes certainly. Can you buy better headphones (for recording) at this price, or anywhere near it? - I don't think so. Just bear in mind, they are geared towards recording - so buy the right ones. Behringer do other models for specific purposes. Some of the reviews I've read don't seem to comprehend that, and as a consequence are not really valid. Do your research!!! Negatives: Build quality - they are obviously made from lightweight plastic. Cable: You cannot replace the cable, so when that breaks - it'll be a repair or replacement of the headphones Sound: It is very neutral, perhaps too much so for some folk? I don't know, it's horses for courses. I can work with it Environmental: I am not a fan of throwaway e-waste. When these fail, that is what they will become. It would have been better if they could have made these modular so they can be rebuilt...
