This is the book you need if like me you have just bought a Soroban. Everything is explained in easy to follow pictures, with a test at the end of each section to make sure you have understood. Thank you Mr Paul Green for a very practical book.

Fantastic book really explains the simple processes involved in addition subtraction multiplication and division. The best resource I have used when learning! There aren't many exercise to practice I recommend looking online where you'll find many practice sheets

Exactly the same book as the Chinese abacus book

Bought as a present having bought one for myself previously. These are well worth the money. You do need a lot of space as it does travel a long way, and fairly straight rather than in that annoying curve that lots of frisbees seem to do

I love this book! Isa big help with learning how to use this device. Clear and concise. Had the thing spiral bound I use it so much.....

I had never used an abacus before but had always wanted to learn. This book is excellent! So far, I am just through addition and subtraction. The examples are easy to follow with great illustrations. There are also problems to try on your own with answers in the back. I highly recommend it for the absolute beginner!
