Q: Do these balls float? Thank you

They float a little bit.. don't sink right to the bottom stay on the surface. With a tiny bit of the ball visible. I had them at the beach last week. My dogs found and bobbed them out no problem. 👍

Q: Are they the same size as a tennis ball, i.e. will it fit in the ball thrower?

Looks like the same size as tennis ball have just tried it in thrower it's a tight fit but works.
