I repeat - how many litres per hour ?

700 litres an hour if your using the 1400 pump or 1500 litres an hour if your using the 3000 pump

how many litres per hour - I don't want a high, fierce fountain as I have a small pond

You could. The fountain is in sections with an additional telescopic piece. This is a big unit though and possibly a tad overkill for your needs. Depends on how many litres your pond holds. It's a fantastic pump though, cleared green water in a 2000 litre pond in 3 days. The light is brilliant.

Will this work with 1000l of water?

I use mine in a blagdon infinity half moon pond which holds 330 litres Works well but I think it might struggle with 3 times that volume
