Easy to use and very effective.
Great hand powered blower. Used to dust off my camera lenses and computer keyboard. Worth every penny and no need for batteries!

Giottos Rocket Air Blower
This is an excellent product in my opinion. I originally bought a small grey 'puffer' style blower (with a brush on the end) from a local photographic shop, with the aim of removing a couple of small hairs that had managed to find their way into the mirror mechanism of my digital SLR. Rather than clearing away the hairs, the 'puffer' actually deposited yet more hairs from its brush. The small 'puffer' was absolutely useless. On looking through the Internet, I came across the Giottos Rocket Air Blower which I thought I would try. The product delivers a good, strong puff of air, which is still gentle enough to remove hair/dust from the inside mechanism of my camera. It worked first time and all of the hair (and brush hairs that the inferior puffer had deposited) were gone. The Giottos product was definitely worth the money. In terms of its build quality, the product is built using strong, thick (but obviously flexible) black rubber. The air nozzle at the top is red rigid ABS plastic with a small hole through which the air is delivered. It can deliver both a gentle or strong puff of air, dependent on how hard you squeeze the body of the blower. In terms of application, according to the packaging, it can be used for computer and communication equipment, traditional and electrical musical instruments and photo, video and precision optical equipment. The packaging says 'Not recommended for CCD sensor cleaning'. Overall, a good, solid product and money well spent in my opinion.

Efficient, effective, HUGE.
Before I bought the rocket blower I had a gradual build up of dust inside my camera body and was on the verge of getting it professionally cleaned. The first time I used this it cleared the dust from the camera body within two to three blows - although I have read the glowing reviews I just wasn't prepared for how efficient this thing is. Don't bother with less powerful blowers and never let a blower with a brush attached near the inside of your camera unless you want to see more dust and crap in there than you had before. The rocket blower is the best, because it is very powerful and won't introduce more dust. It is quite a big beast and will take up a large amount of space in your camera bag, so wether or not you consider this portable will depend on you and the nature of your shoot. Just be warned that this blower, even with the nozzle removed, will take up a similar amount of space as a Nikon kit lens. Unlike a lens it can be squished, but you get the picture. When storing at home, the rocket blower was designed to stand upright on its fins but mine lives in either a bag or (clean, non dusty) drawer. I'll use the rocket blower after any shoot where I've changed lenses, on both lens and camera body. I reckon this will put off the inevitable professional deep clean and all the attendant cost and trouble for quite a bit longer. Plus no-one wants to spend ages sat cloning out dust spots so if you want to save time in post production this is for you.

Quality air blower.
This is a quality air blower from Giottos in there iconic rocket shape. Make sure you buy direct from amazon or you may get a fake like some 1 star reviews may have. This is a nice thing to have in your cleaning ket, it does let a fair amount of air out and it got rid of the dust from inside my camera no problem. The only thing I’m not that happy with is the size because it’s 8 inches long it takes a bit of room up in my backpack and some people may find it difficult in a smaller backpack 🎒This is a great addition to anybody’s setup and well worth the price.

The original and best
I've tried a few air blowers for my camera in the past, and after finally getting the Giottos I wish I hadn't. This is just top quality and works perfectly. It's very well constructed, with no areas of weakness, the seals around the air shoot and back air intake are very well put together. The back air intake is such a clever idea, as it eliminates the chance of a back flow when the rocket is refilling with air, and as the main shoot is small for precise application, the back intake is larger, so it refills with air in a split second. The rubber is excellent quality and thick, it emits a powerful blast of air, good enough to dislodge most bits of dust on your camera lens or sensor, unless stuck fast. It's also great for my MacBook, which seems to collect dust even when the lid is closed. I'd guess that this would be a great impromptu cooling aid in a hot office too! All in all, it took a while to get to this, but I'm so glad I finally did.

Expensive, but worth paying the extra
Great little blower that exceeds expectations. Sized to fit into a large hand, but could be squeezed equally well in a small hand, this blower gives a short blast of air capable of clearing debris from difficult to reach corners. Works well on keyboards, circuit boards and cameras, I bought this one for clearing the jet on a camper fridge that is prone to block. Well made, sturdy construction that feels like it will last. The one way valve works well for rapid re-inflation so that the bellows inflate immediatley upon release and do not leak when squeezed.

Perfect and Powerful.
This is a must have if you have a pc with many fans or you have a dslr/mirrorless camera and a bunch of lens. Air dusters are hard to find in the UK and are quite expensive but this however is a gem. Reusable and powerful and doesn't end up freezing your mirror on your DSLR since it isn't compressed gas. Always take it out when I do photography as I just do a few pumps into the camera and lens whenever I change them as that's all you need to enjoy life dust free!
