After we purchased it, we were told by the county inspector that it was not approved since it’s aftermarket. So basically we lost the money we paid for it, and had to purchase a namebrand model that was over double the price..

A maintenance guy said my aerator was out of code because the motor was not nsf. is this motor ansi standard 40?

Yes, it meets that standard as long as you have a separate junction box outside of the septic tank.

So far so good. I bought this as a replacement for the factory motor. It cost about $200 less than a new factory motor. It has been running continuously since I installed it, with no problems.
