Does this fold away with the mattress on

I have exactly 1 metre space between 2 fitted wardrobes. Will this bed fit bearing in mind the comments about needing 4 inches clearance?

My bed is 39 inches wide, including metal that holds bed. The overall length of the bed is extended by approximately a foot due to a gap at the head of the bed when it is down.

What are recommended Internal measurements of cabinet for storing the bed?
