i have a few of these in my tank and my shrimp and snails love them. i added a few live plants to each piece and then put suction cups on them so they could help hide heater and filter. well worth the money, i was happy with the sizes of each piece. will buy again

I boiled the cholla wood for 5 minutes, then soaked for couple days to reduce the amount of Tannin. Water still browned but provides great hiding place for my shrimp!
