It works so well
Turn it on, tune guitar, play. This device switches off automatically after 3 mins. That's it. The simplicity of the action of tuning seems almost worthless to note. On the surface of it, it is ludicrous to be excited about such a finctional bit of kit as a tuner. But, once you've used many cheap tuners over years and then use the Polytune, you might immediately wonder why you didn't use this before. I could go on and on but there are plenty of fantastic reviews here and the features of the tuner are very well explained so I just wanted to say "It's great" and lets you just get on and play. I love kit that does its job as quickly and simply as it can, is built to last, incorporates a minimal style and does not include superfluous features and fuctions. Get all that right and the price for anything meeting these points is probably right as is the case with this Polytune clipon. This tuner is a beautiful example where the balance of function, usability, build and style are perfect. I can see myself using this tuner for years. There is one point of irrationality though as I will probably buy another, possibly just because I want two as it is that good, which is not very rational and I know that I will convince myself that having two is a good idea for some reason. Regarding the design, I did read one review which criticised the clip for being 'naked', capable of damaging the finish and not capable of swivelling. The clip has two silicone patches. on each part that will come into contact with your guitar. The silicone on the fixed part of the clip even has a raised back end acting as a STOP to prevent the spring from contacting the headstock. The clip allows for 180 degree lateral movement of the tuner only. However, simply pivoting the clip will pitch it up and down to find the best angle without damage. If damage was so much of a concern, one might want to cease using a clip-on altogether for something more favourable as dirt and particles may create microscopic scratches to the finish which may become noticeable in time and if the instrument is not regularly maintained.

Solid design, small and compact, easy to read and accurate tuner. Recommended.
This is a very well designed tuner. It has a solid feel and is small and easy to use. I really like the PolyTune feature. PolyTune is great for an overview of all the strings with one strum and it automatically switches to an individual string tuning display when you play it. It's accurate and easy to use. The display is clear and designed to be bright, rather than fancy. The alternative tuning modes also give you options. I've tried other clip on tuners and this is the one I would recommend. It is not the cheapest, but you are getting what you pay for in this instance.

extremely accurate
extremely accurate, best of all tuners, works with acoustic and elecrtic guitars too as they live on the headstock and measure the frequency trought the vibration of the guitar body, works in noisy environment as well, compared to one of the best tuner the peterson plus hd C trackes exactly the same, but even easier to read as the Peterson keeps moving crazy making it harder to tune but this one doesnt jump as much, and the end result is as accurate as it could be, could be used for intonation adjusment for acoutic guitars but for this is bit annoying the it turns off after like a minute or two to save battery which will last 3 months if you are using it a lot daily, need CR2032 batteries, so if you are a luthier better to get a Peterson as they could be used from wired usb power and it can stay forever while this is battery only and headstock vibration only, Peterson is battery and usb powered and display can stay on, but for everyday use this is much more practical as you can just leave it on the headstock, i bought the Peterson as well but i will just keep Polytune and sell the Peterson.

Very good tuner, the best I've come across.
Of all the many tuners I own, this is by far the most accurate and with the best display I've seen. The display which has two main modes, needle and strobe, is bright and easy to see. You can tune strings individually of course but this tuner offers something else I had not seen before. You can strum all 6 strings open, and the tuner will give you a display of them all together, indicating whether each string is either in-tune, sharp or flat. This is called polymorphic tuning and the tuner goes from single string mode to polymorphic automatically, you dont even have to think about it. The needle mode display is excellent, and so is the strobe mode which is really cool too. The display automatically rotates according to the position of the tuner, and automatically shuts off after 3 minutes. It is a very accurate and sensitive tuner, so sensitive in fact it even picks up speech. One thing I particularly like about this is that strings can be plucked very lightly to obtain a note display, in contrast to other tuners which typically need the B and E 1st to be twanged quite loudly to generate a tuner response. So far so good but there are some negatives to this device. There is no swivel functionality for the clip which makes positioning awkward. The clip ends look quite capable of inflicting surface damage to the headstock finish over time. The enclosed user manual is extremely badly written and difficult to read in microscopic light grey print. The content of this manual is sorely lacking. The download manual, which took quite a hunt to find, is slightly better, but still woefully inadequate. I know it stops accidental pressings but the three buttons on this device are not easy to use, mainly because they are flush to the casing and I (like most guitarists) , have no nails on my left hand. I nearly returned this tuner thinking I had a defective one, as it's extremely difficult to switch between modes. After watching 5 U tube videos, I finally learned how to use it.....Buttons need pauses and a combination of presses....THIS INFO SHOULD BE IN THE MANUAL! It has other tuning modes as well as capo positions up to fret 7. I had to get email support for this, as again the manual is hopeless. With my Korg sledgehammer tuner if you set this to say capo 2 and put the capo on the second fret, in standard tuning the display will show EADGBE, but with the Polytune clip the open notes read F# B E A C# F#. It always shows the fretted note. So what is the purpose of the capo function on the Polytune ? ........well apparently it is for the polymorphic display only! I would have preferred the Korg type presentation. So this tuner takes a bit of setting up, but it does retain settings in memory after switch off or even battery change. Very nice and very accurate tuner but quite complicated and not helped by the manual. In spite of my misgivings about the Polytune, it's my go to tuner now.

A tuner that is well worth the extra
This is the first tuner of this type that I have owned and I think it is brilliant, I find it tunes my guitar accurately and is easy to use, yes there are much cheaper tuners of this type on the market but they are not as robust and from the quoted specifications no where as accurate. The metal clip is a big bonus over the cheaper ones that only have plastic clips and although I can't prove it the transfer of the headstock vibrations should be much better with a metal clip rather than a plastic one. I would definitely recommend this tuner over cheaper models, just don't loose it.

Precise, clear polyphonic capability
This easy to use, clear and reliable. I have the pedal board version as well, this is a handy extra from a trusted brand. Would recommend.

VERY easy to use 👌
I bought this great little tuner for my partner for his birthday October 2023. It arrived on time & packaged well. My partner is very impressed with it! He had a tuner already but he said this one is much better. It’s very simple to use - there are no wires. You simply clip it onto your guitar & start playing each string (while adjusting the knobs of course). When the little device recognises the correct chord sound of the string it will show 2 green lines. Simple! Highly recommended. I hope you’ve found this review (with video) helpful :-)

Great when working
Have two of these , and both are now faulty , eating thru batteries , even when switched off , obviously a fault ! Given the cost they shouldn’t be failing like this

Preciso.
Me parece que es muy preciso. Me encanta.

Great product but received used one
Great product, if someone wants real qualitative tuner this is it. It's the apple of tuner. Tuners response is very quick, it immediately shows notes on display after plucking string. It is very accurate with strobe mode. Notes does not shake while tuning. Very accurate and firm reading. Low "B" string response is also awesome in bass mode. Very sturdy stainless steel clip. And bright LED display which helps tuning on stage very easy and visible. I got it from Alberto Music, packing was really good. Appreciate on it. It got deliver before it's cut off date. Tuner is also working great but I feel that I got the product which was already used before and repack it. It has scratch mark and some patches on it's screen guard. Which slightly made me disappointed. As far as product is working fine I am happy with that. Amazon should look in it and speak with Alberto music about product feedback. Pic is there for the ref.
