OXO Good Grips Upright Sweep Set

Great piece of kit. Light and compact but so effective - the brush gets to places flexibly and collects particles smoothly.

Love the sturdy bristles to get in to the grooves on my wooden dining table. Easily sweeps away crumbs and stores in the tiniest space due to its compact size. Good price for this quality mini dustpan and brush.

I'm in my 40s with a toddler, my back is under constant pressure, so wanted this to save a bit of bending in my life. To that end this product does the job exactly as required. I've owned a few OXO products, and all have been great quality, and this is no different, the brush and pan are very effective. I've had cheap dustpan sets, where the lip of the pan just blocks smaller bits going in, not with this. Really does work well, but there is one flaw... There's a bracket that allows you to click together the two products for storage, the pan tills up as well and it makes it great for slotting into a cupboard. But this bracket is crazy tight, and it hasn't eased up with use. At first it didn't bother me because as said, I thought it was because it was new, but had this a while now and it's still just as bad., As a result it's become really annoying, and sometimes you catch your knuckles because you need to exert so much force, when it does unlick suddenly, your hand catches, giving an ouch! moment. I've got better at avoiding this now, but I shouldn't need to worry about it. For us it's just annoying, but I can see for some that have weakness for whatever reason, be it age, or aliment, this is going to be a real issue. That is why I give this 3 stars, it sounds minor, but for something we use regularly to mop up toddler mess, it just becomes exceptionally annoying to have to pry apart these two things, and putting them back together also requires more strength than it should. It's a great product let down by a silly flaw.

Hard to get excited about a dustpan and brush set. I wanted a small,compact set and this ticked all that boxes. Sturdy, small and also stylish and I'd say worth the money. Nothing not to like, would recommend for small home tasks.

This dustpan and brush is EXCELLENT. I have tried many different brands of dustpan and brushes over the years and this one is the best I have found by far! The flexible rubber strip on the dustpan stops all dust going under the pan making it quick and easy to use. Over time this strip does harden and then it will need replacing. I had my last one quite a few years before this gradually happened and I would have to start going over areas a couple of times (like you do with other dustpans and brushes from new) I store my dustpan on the rubber strip so this possible shorten its life too. Having children I use mine several times a day. Our flooring is quite uneven in places and this does not make any difference to quality and ease of use. The brush pushes into a slot on the dustpan and this keeps them together. This also keep the brush looking like new several years later. It might cost slightly more than non branded versions but for home use it is well worth the extra cost. I have never had one of these snap on the handles and have only had to replace as the rubber strip hardened and I would have to go over what I am trying to clear up more than once. My old one was several years old and the brush was in perfect condition... no loss of bristles. I would highly recommend if you want to make cleaning up quicker and easier.

I am a busy mum of 3 so I'm always interested in products which help me to save time and keep my home clean effortlessly. I am forever running around picking up the mess that my children have left behind and so an upright brush set really appealed to me because it's much easier than constantly bending down and trying to sweep using a small dustpan and brush. I have been lusting over this brush set for a while (sad, I know) and trying to justify the relatively high cost, for what it is, and debating whether it was worth buying this set. Having bitten the bullet and purchased it I can now say, in my opinion, it wasn't worth it at all and I'm quite disappointed. The best thing about this brush set is that it looks very stylish (apart from the brush head) compared to similar items which are on the market. I have purchased many OXO products over the years and I have always been really impressed with the quality and functionality of their items, until now. The biggest disappointment is the actual brush which in my option is the most important part. When I first opened it I was annoyed because it looked as though I had received a damaged/ used brush. The bristles where bent and sticking out in all directions and the bottom half of the bristles looked frayed. Because of this I decided to read some of the reviews and realised that many people have said the same thing. I also looked at the photos on the Amazon listing and it appears that this is a normal feature of the brush but it looks awful and very poor quality. It doesn't look like a brush which is over £20 in price. The brush is also very flimsy so it's quite hard to pick up small pieces of dirt. If you put a little too much pressure on the brush as you are sweeping the bristles give way so you have to sweep very lightly and gently in order to pick the dust or dirt up. The handles are comfortable to hold as with all OXO products. The dustpan is a great size but the white colour makes it look dirty very easily. I like the fact that the pan folds upwards for easy and compact storage. I also like the fact that the brush attaches to the pan handle when not in use. The idea of having teeth on the pan to clean/ comb out the dirt and dust from the brush is great but in reality because the brush is so flimsy and bad quality I find that the teeth just end up damaging the bristles even more so, I am always relucttant to use this feature. It also arrived in a ridiculously huge box which was stuffed to the rim with packaging paper order to fill the box out and protect the item. Whilst I was happy that the brush set was well protected in the box and arrived in one piece I think that Amazon/ OXO need to review how they package the item and the amount of materials that they are wasting. I don't think I would buy this brush set again it's not really worth the money there are cheaper alternatives which would do the job.

OXO Good Grip Dust Pan Set Hi Everyone: It’s usually hard to find nice and interesting things to say about a dust pan and brush combination, but in this case it is surprisingly easy. Both these OXO pieces ( brush and pan ) have been engineered perfectly for the task intended. The brush is curved very so slightly to a perfect angle that is super comfortable when using, and the dust pan has an orange lip that goes from one side to the other and it is very soft. Being this soft this orange strip lays down perfectly onto any surfaces, allowing the dirt to be swept into the pan with precision and ease. Both pieces are a sand / soft grey color that look beautiful with the orange and black coordinates. The inside area of the pan has a gloss sand / grey surface, and is flat coloured sand / grey on the outside. The brush sand / grey colour is all glossy both sides. It is absolutely just the perfect size when compared to all the other dust pans I have ever owned and held in my hands. The OXO people did it 100% perfectly on this item as usual. The dust pan is about 12.5 inches long and 8.25 inches wide, and the dust pan handle is 1.75 inches wide and 3.5 inches long and very easy to grip securely. The pan will sit flatly on the floor on its very own ( you don’t have to hang onto it ) and you can sweep the dirt into the pan using just one hand. The brush is 11.25 inches long and the broom part of the brush is 6 inches wide with the handle being 1.35 wide and 3.5 inches long and is flat and easy to secure firmly. When not in use the brush locks into the handle of the pan and both can be stored in a hanging position on a wall etc, via the large holes in both the handle and the brush. My last dust pan combo was a well known brand name that I paid about seven dollars for on sale, and It never worked correctly or efficiently and looked horrible. So needles to say that this was a major double increase on the spending for this item. I’m very pleased to report that I am super happy that I made the decision and chose this item over another “ useless ” Rubbermaid Dust Pan Combination. It’s so beautiful looking, I now display it openly in my laundry room. It is indeed A few dollars more but I recommend this product 100% to everyone that uses a broom to clean their floors. It will sweep you off your feet instantly. Another 10 out of 10 product for the OXO Corporation . I hope my review was helpful.

Was suprised by how small this items is, it felt and looked like it belonged in my Daughters doll house, play house, i mean its the size of my palm so not ideal for a normal household.
