Would this be ok for a 6 year old just starting to play netball ?

Thank you for your question, yes this product would be perfect for a 6 year just starting to play. It comes with 6 poles which can be fixed together to adjust the height. My 12 year old daughter has this product and we use it on the full height and it is very sturdy, she also uses it with a real netball, not the lighter one which is supplied. Kind Regards Suzanne

What is the smallest height this can be set at, please?

Thank you for your question. The netball set comes with 5 or 6 poles. Each pole is assembled separately so you can adjust the height accordingly i.e. you can use it with 1, 2, 3,4 or 5 poles. My Daughter is 12 and she has the netball stand at full height, which is a similar height to the netball stands they use a school. Kind Regards Suzanne

Can a normal sized netball be used with this (so not the one that comes with)

My daughter tells me that you can use a normal size netball but me being a man am not completely sure, what we also bought at the same time that I know she does use is NET1 Women's Training Netball - White/Pink, Size 5 This was also bought via Amazon - Hope that this helps
