This foam stripping is fantastic! The adhesive is super strong, making it easy to apply and ensuring it stays in place. The 2-inch width and 1-inch thickness provide excellent insulation, sealing gaps perfectly in doors and windows. The high-density neoprene material is durable and effective in blocking drafts and noise. I used it to weatherproof my windows, and it made a noticeable difference in keeping my home warm and quiet. The 6.5 feet length was just right for my needs. Highly recommend!

Good isolation and adhesion

Good, solid, closed foam neoprene, with tacky adhesive and easily removable backing. However, it turned out to be 3/4x3/4", so I had to double it up (stuck to itself, side-by-side) and trim some off to get closer to 1".

I applied this weatherstripping to Hanger doors. The doors slide together and meet in the middle and there is a gap where the doors meet. I applied the seal and it works great. Some days the door seals stick, but if I remember to apply talcum powder to the seals, the doors open with no sticking.

Not 1 inch thick

We were looking for a 1" insulating foam for the exterior side of a door threshold that led to our U/G parkade from our downstairs hallway. This foam worked perfectly. There was a significant draft coming through from the parkade and most available similar door insulation is too thin or shallow to provide the coverage we needed. The adhesive is also very strong and the draft has been completely eliminated. Ignore the dirty carpet as we're currently doing renovations :) I would highly recommend this product based on our needs and outcome.
