A Better Alternative to Sticky Tack or Drawing Pins.
After decades of putting up with oil residue on posters and holes tearing into pin-ups or cards and the prospect of them falling off your wall in the middle of the night (making me jump!), I want to say this - kudos to those (or the individual) who came up with this beauty of an initiative, even if it is somewhat fiddly to apply (which I will come to later)! Here is how good it is. I used it to put up a wallpaper sample and it has stayed there - and wallpaper samples come in different thickness and texture. Just think, you can stick it on the wall and back away without it hanging like Harold Lloyd off a clock or floating down. There is no residue, no holes or tearing at the corners and it comes clean off. When I used this product for the first time, it was trial and error - hence my reference to the 'fiddly bit', which I referred to earlier. It took me ages to take the sticky film from the backing paper because I don't have very long fingernails. My advice is to make sure you have either a visible index fingernail or something like a metal nail file handy to try getting the sticky bit off the backing paper reasonably neatly OR tear it off at an angle from the dispenser in such a way that the sticky film is on show and then apply it to the poster/card/paper for affixing onto the wall, door etc. In spite of the 'fiddly' (and there are no half-stars to take off in any ratings because taking off a full star is not right, in this case), I like this product a lot because it is a much better alternative to sticky tack and drawing pins.

Good stuff, but be sure to let the tape stick to the first surface for a bit before peeling paper.
It's a bit fiddly if you try using the dispenser cutter due to the paper backing, but if you use scissors, it works fine. Helpful hints: Be sure both surfaces you want to stick together are squeaky clean. Stick the tape (with paper on) to the "base" you are attempting to stick something to, smooth firmly and leave for a minute. Then, carefully *push* with your fingertip from one corner and the paper should start to curl up. If it doesn't (if the tape comes with the paper), just stick it down again and hold your hand over it for a few seconds to warm it up. Once enough has curled up, you should be able to peel the rest of the paper off. The tape tends to want to stick more to the surface than to the paper, so unless the base surface is greasy or extremely slick, it should work fine. Now you should be able to attach whatever you want to stick to the base (or wall). I have even had success (using the tape every 18 inches) with hanging a fleece on the back of an open bookcase, so it will stick to fabric as well. Good luck!

Good For Most Things, But Not Everything
I bought this as you can imagine because I had some posters I wanted to stick up on the wall, yet I wanted to be discreet with it. For what it is, it is very good at its job and did indeed stick some of my posters on the wall, but not all of them. I had a few plastic based posters which were also a bit heavier than you standard poster. I thought it wouldn't matter too much, but that wasn't the case. While the tape does stick to the plastic material, the weight caused it not to bond well with the wall, and they just wouldn't stay up. Posters aside though, the one gripe I will give with the product itself, is the tricky business of peeling away the strip that protects the adhesive. While I did manage it eventually, it takes a few attaempts to pry the end off to get a clean separation, and in some cases I ended up peeling the tape of the posters instead. Overall though it is a good product for its purpose. It can easily stick normal posters to the wall, and be peeled off relatively easily if needs be. Yet for any heavier posters, it's not going to quite cut it, though that's not a fault of the product itself since it isn't designed for heavier products as I found out.

Worse than useless, avoid!
Unfortunately this is the most useless and terrible value for money tape I've ever gotten. It just had no strength or staying power whatsoever. I used it to hang up 2 posters, and they fell in a matter of minutes. I thought maybe I hadn't used enough, so I surrounded the edge of the back of the posters completely. THIS USED THE ENTIRE ROLL!!! I was pretty fuming at this point, but I put the posters up, and went out. When I came back, they were both on the floor! So now I've wasted my money and time, and one of my posters is now bent from the fall. As far as I can tell, I can't even get a refund. £10 for this is an absolute joke.

Just what I was looking for
I used this to display some pogs, which have a shiny cardboard backing that I didn’t want to glue or ruin, if possible. After trying quite a few different methods, I found this tape, which I bought because it’s supposed to easily peel off with no damage. I tried it out a few times before using it in the whole set, leaving it attached for 24hrs before peeling it off and each time there was no damage or ripping at all. Despite that, it’s very strong. Very impressed.

Sticks as expected, but very fiddly backing
Sticks as expected for a low tack tape, but it's very, very fiddly to get the backing tape off once you've got a piece cut to size. Good luck to anyone who doesn't have sharp fingernails!

Used directly on plaster and it works.
Hung up a cotton wall tapestry with this (this was in fact the wrong product for my needs). Placed directly onto a plastered wall, wasn't expecting great results and am pleased this tape has surpassed expectations. No idea how it'll peel off, but as in the first instance the need is to keep things UP, this product works very well. A great alternative to drilling and putting holes in your walls.

Excellent sticking quality
Excellent tape, does exactly what it says. Did the job for me, stuck some wooden pieces onto the inside of a cupboard and fitted a shelf. Sorted. Should be available in this country, but it didn't take too long to arrive. Would recommend it.
