WWE 2K14 (Xbox 360)

Very good game, I particularly like the 30 years of Wrestlemania new mode. The game has a big and strong roster and the new creation features in it are cool. It's the first game I've bought since SVR 2011 and this game is so far the best WWE game out there. The only thing I don't like is the annoying reversals, it's always too slow or too fast and the opposite player COM always seems to reverse easy. Apart from that, WWE 2k14 is a must buy for all WWE fans...

I loved playing this game as a wrestling fan for many years and recently just got back into watching it on tv. The modes on the game are great and being able to play as old characters aswell as new is a great bonus. The one thing I found hard about this game is defeating The Undertake streak. It was very frustrating other than that is great and also I am a achievement hunter so getting a lot of the achievements was great

Wow! I ordered this as a cheap Christmas present to myself when I found that the 2K15 version was too expensive to warrant. This is a 'full-fat' version of the WWE wrestling game genre that should not disappoint fans with long memories. This is because the main mode is centered around '30 years of Wrestlemania' and mostly delivers on its promises. There are all 30 Wrestlemania liveries available once this mode is completed and really adds to the great nostalgia feeling; nothing beats doing a Superkick outdoors in Ceasars Palace! The mechanics of the gameplay are a little simplified compared to some previous releases but this works for the title and eases you in at a reasonable pace. Once the basics are learnt it's easy to get the rest nailed down. The animation is smooth (much more than I was expecting) and most things worked exactly as I wanted them too. There are a few modes that still suck a little (ladder match) - but I would be disappointed if they weren't included as at least the first ten minutes are fun! If you are an old school WWE / WWF fan then this game does a great service to your memories - it's worth a punt.

Let me start of by saying, this game does feel different to WWE 13, it is a lot more fluent, and the game has a new reversal system, which if you've played 13, where when you reversed something it would go into a headlock, then if your opponent reversed something it would go into another headlock, this is gone, now you reverse a move, it turns into an offensive maneuver, making the gameplay feel a whole lot quicker. And the roster this year is fantastic, with guys that one year ago would be unheard of for WWE game fans, now there is guys like 'Hulk Hogan' 'Sgt Slaughter' 'The Macho Man Randy Savage' (RIP Macho ) and all of the present stars of today, and Big E Langston and others have been confirmed for downloadable content. 30 Years Of WrestleMania Now this feature is the main feature of the game, it includes a short video package of the events leading up to the match that you are about to play, so that you can get a bit of a back story on the match before you play it, which is very helpful if you did not know the events transpiring at the time. And when you play a match there is 'Historical Objectives' for you to complete, if you complete all of the objectives in one match you receive some unlockables, like the arena that you just played in, the arenas are all brilliantly built, exactly like the ones that you would see watching it on your TV. Universe Mode Now I have not played that much of this mode, it is a little bit annoying at times, like when you try and make a story and then the game ruins it, but this year that happens less frequently. Now if you want to start a feud with two men, or teams you can, unlike previous years when you try to make guys hate each-over, and it just goes away over time, now it doesn't happen as much, still can be annoying though. Creation Suite Now this is why I gave it 4/5, if you had 13 this is practically the same, with some new stages for arenas, but now you cannot make a logo so big on the arena, unlike last year when you could make logos as big as you wanted, this is extremely annoying, as I try and make a realistic arena and I cannot put the logo on the side big enough, hopefully this is a glitch and they patch it. Also there is a create a title mode, which is better then last years, but most of the graphics and designs are the same as you could put on in Smackdown Vs Raw 2007,so that is a bit of a bummer. Overall I would recommend getting this game as it is fun, and the gameplay is great, except from the similar to last years 'Creation Suite' the other modes make up for it, 8.8/10.

well where to start this game came out on the 1st of November in the UK and mine came on the 2nd which was a day late when people had theres a day early am not sure if this was due to a mess up with my card but either way it was pritty anoying, now on to the review the game hasnt changed much from WWE13 same grphics same moves same commentary ect, the 30 years of wrestlemania mode is supper fun tho i have almost completed it and am really happy they added it in, the roster has alot of supperstars in including Ryback the shield john cena, all your favourite supperstars, i have yet to try the online out but i have heard that the servers are improved which is always a plus, i would recommend buying this game if you are a wrestling fan

I loveneverything about this game, it has improved in so many ways since it's precious game which was WWE 13. This game was made by a new developer, not the same one as the previous game and they have made it so much better. The graphics are amazing, the feal of the game is very realistic, it's so much like a real wwe match when your playing. I would definitely recommended this to any wwe fan, even if you don't like it that much, you will love this game!! 2K buying the rights to make the next WWE game couldn't have been a better decision, they have completely transformed the game and brought it back to life, there isn't a single thing I can fault about this game!!

This game is bad. Graphics are not what make a game but it looks like block graphics from 10 years ago. The game itself is so boring. Nothing to do. Gameplay is unessesarly hard. Your opponent is constantly blocking you. The control scheme is over complicated. All the best characters have to be unlocked so you'll have to jump through hoops to get the best. The design a wrestler mode is a joke. Up close the faces look all pixelated. Awful. This is a complete waste off money and I seriously don't know why I bought it.

Il gioco è divertente come lo era il suo vecchio predecessore che ho giocato 10 anni fa, certo ha qualche pecca tecnica (sempre le solite da anni e anni) ma ci si passa sopra tranquillamente per quanto è bello da giocare specialmente con un amico. La modalità storia che ripercorre gli eventi dagli anni 80 è anche decisamente ben fatta. Se siete amanti del mondo della WWE, è a dir poco perfetto! Anche se ormai sono cambiate un po' di cose, ma è possibile fare match per i titoli così da aggiornare i campioni.

CInture, cinture, cinture! Un wwe pieno di cinture da conquistare, con molti tipo di "creazioni" e un metodo di gioco molto interessante! Sinceramente dopo questo con tutta la storia dei 29 wrestlemania precedenti non comprerò altri wwe2k finché non proporranno qualcosa di davvero interessante (tipo 2k16 con la storyline di Stone Cold)
