This works great, it would have been better being back lit though. Its really easy to use and I use it to monitor my sourdough. I have to move it a round from time to time to get a more accurate reading, but it does the job. I have checked it with another probe i have had a while and they were more of less the same, so its reliably giving me the reading. Because its out side of the proofer I am using, it easy to change the temperatures if it becomes too or hot or cold. I recommend it.

Excellent thermometer and a very good price. Bought exactly the same as the last one I had (because last one fell in the sink for an hour and unsurprisingly died as a result)

Excellent for the food business. Double sided tape and stick them anywhere. Easy to read and quick temperature measurement but keep a backup in stock as they can break from mishandling. They are competitively priced and worth the money. Buy 2 just in case.

tested this as soon as I got it. it passed. very pleased because trying to find a sensor thermometer that is both accurate simple to use and affordable has been insane. iv tried and tested so many in the past week that iv had to return for the above reasons. I need maintain a temp for a long periods of time this is perfect because now don't have to constantly watch the temp as the alarm is so easy to set up and will alert me if both the temp drops or raises.

Be aware that unlike some other thermometers with a cable this particular cable is plastic coated. It means that it will be susuptable to the heat from both the oven and the pan your meat is in and it is liable to melt. I returned mine as I didn't feel it was suitable.
