Can this be used for colonic irrigation?

Oh yes, absolutely. It works best with a spray head which you operate with the circular muscles called the external sphincter ani.

Does anyone experience leakage from the hose once water starts running through the tap? If so, how did you mitigate?

If you experience dripping i recommend PTFE tape on all the seals. Its cheap and its extremely effective, an absolute must.

Would this connect to the tap and then a spray head straight int he other end? Just for washing dog off at front of house

Assuming you have an outside tap with a screw thread at the opening, one end of this hose will screw on to the tap. The other end can be connected to a Hoselock or similar spray head. I found that i had to tighten the back of both connectors as there was a slight leak at both ends. Apart from that it was fine.

Will this connect to a soaker hose?

If the soaker hose has got a male quick connector then yes. If the connector looks like the one on this item you will need a double male connector to connect them.
